About this ebook
In book six of the Galactic Cage Fighters: Zen the Sin is the hottest male in the Galaxy according to the Galactic Times and every woman who attends a GCFA fight. Being charming comes naturally to Zen, giving him the ability to play the part of the Galactic Cage fighter playboy--well. He poses with fans, signs autographs, and is a pro at doing commercials. No one sells sex better than Zen the Sin. So when the Galactic Times sends a female to do a two week long expose; it should have been just another day in the life of Zen the Sin. Problem is, she doesn't seem to fall for his usual playboy routine nor does she seem swayed by his good looks.
Shawna Baker jumps at the opportunity by the magazine she works for and agrees to do an in-depth interview with the fighter known as Zen the Sin. She has been waiting for this day to come for years, a chance to travel on the Galactic Cage Fighters ship and get to learn about a man from her past. The only drawback is having to deal with a well-known womanizer but decides that if he gives her a hard time then she would dig up dirt on him, there should be plenty. What she doesn't count on, is Zen isn't all he seems to be--he has many layers, discovering the easy going man is much more complicated. Against her will she becomes instantly intrigued by him, leaving her craving to peel back each layer to find the real man underneath. Not everyone is happy with Shawna's presence on board the GCFA ship, including a mother who is furious with her for taking the job and does not want her to have anything to do with the halfsies, especially Zen.
Things soon become complicated and dangerous when her presence provokes one of Zen's fans--one who has begun to stalk him. Will Shawna get past her preconceptions and her mother's hatred of all halfsies? Will Zen open up, allowing someone to get close to him? Can they overcome the hate and fear before it tears them apart? Or will Zen's easy nature be his downfall when the stalker turns deadly?

Prologue
Ten Years Earlier…
Specimen twelve you have not been cooperating,
the head scientist said with anger. He knew the specimen had a name but he refused to use it because then it would make the creature appear more human, instead of the animal that he was.
Zen looked at the evil male with hate. Why should I cooperate?
Your life can be hard or it can be less hard. Either way you will participate in the breeding experiments.
No.
The scientist, instead of getting angrier, simply smiled at Zen. You seem protective of the girls, especially the younger ones. It is too bad that I plan to initiate the breeding earlier than scheduled with them.
You can’t do that! The younger girls are not able to conceive yet!
Zen tried to go after the scientist but the neck restraint they put on him jerked him back.
Easy. Don’t hurt yourself,
the female doctor next to the scientist told Zen. She looked at her boss. Is this necessary?
He will participate or die,
the male scientist said uncaring.
Leave the girls alone!
Zen yelled out. He glared at the male and female hating them with everything he had.
Are you going to offer me something else?
the male asked.
Zen stopped struggling to eye the male. What could Zen do to keep the young ones safe? The only thing he had to offer was himself. It was a small price to pay. He sighed with resignation.
What do you want?
Zen asked.
I want your full cooperation in the breeding experiments,
the male scientist told him.
I will not breed with the young girls.
Zen shook his head.
Right. Here’s the deal, I’ll keep the younger girls out of the breeding experiments until they are older and able to conceive. You will breed with the more mature girls.
I will not force them to share sex with me and the drugs you try to use to get our compliance, does not affect me.
That’s true. Not sure why the drugs don’t work on your specific species mix. But it does work on the girls. The drug will make them beg to be fucked whether they want it or not.
Don’t! Using the drugs on them is the same as forcing them!
Zen pulled at the collar on him. He glanced briefly at the female doctor. She was always watching him.
The scientist smirked, I guess you better learn how to convince the women they want to have sex with you then.
Chapter One
Present Day…
Zen was breathing heavy after his latest match. The lights blared in his eyes and he couldn’t wait to take the special contacts out that protected his sensitive eyes from the painful glares. The contacts helped but after a while of wearing them they became irritating to his eyes. He was looking forward to when the after party was over and everyone went on their way so he could finally relax in his own suite.
He enjoyed socializing. That was part of the Felon side of him. But he enjoyed his private quiet time the most. He could kick back and do things he liked to do when no one was around. He didn’t have to pretend.
Zen! Zen, how do you feel about the fight?
A reporter called out as he was making his way out of the cage.
Zen turned toward the reporter with his Cheshire smile. Great, especially since I won it.
The crowd nearby laughed. He did a quick side pose for some of the photographers and then continued on his way.
He had to go to the healing facility to treat his injuries before he went on to the after party. He felt the bruises, there was a cut above his eye, and the ribs almost poking out in the wrong place were concerning. It was a rough way to make a living, but it paid damn good money. Plus the side benefits were worth the pain. He winked at several females before he disappeared into the back hallway. There was always female company available. He would seek some out later for a little bit of fun.
Shawna watched from the reporter’s section as the arrogant fighter walked out of sight. He was something alright. He didn’t have a shy bone in his body at all. He loved himself, which was evident by how cocky he was in answering questions and overconfident in his charm. The female fans loved him though. She had to admit, he was attractive. But she wasn’t turned on by his looks one bit. She kept telling herself that several times.
Shawna made her way out of the sports arena. She followed the throng of people who were going to the Galactic Cage Fighters ship. Her cell phone rang. She checked the caller ID—it was her boss.
Shawna Baker. Yes, Samuel, I am on my way to the GCFA after party. I haven't had time to introduce myself yet. I arrived just before the GCFA event started. No, Jimmie isn’t here yet. Of course. I’ll report in with you in the morning.
Shawna hung up.
Her boss was being pushy about this in-depth interview. She wasn’t the first choice for this assignment. She wasn’t a sports writer. She had to push and push to convince them to give her the story. She was a good reporter and they knew it. In the end, she had gotten her way.
She showed her press ID to the security detail at the main entrance to the ship. She had her bags delivered but she hadn’t had a chance to check in yet. She went to the front desk.
Can I be of assistance?
the desk attendant asked.
Yes, I am Shawna Baker. I have a reservation booked by the Galactic Times.
The attendant checked her listings and smiled. Of course. We have you in the executive suite. Your bags have already been delivered there. Security is on their way to give you your GCFA ship access pass and then will escort you personally to the after party.
Shawna smiled. Thank you.
She wished she had time to change into something a little more party appropriate. She was dressed in casual dress pants and a white silky blouse. She was lucky the arena seat she was in was not a prime spot for the blood spray that occurred during the fights. She shivered at the thought of being covered in someone else’s blood—so not her thing.
She watched as a large blue man walked toward her. The closer he came, the more she could see of him. He was quite attractive. His hair was jet black and his eyes were lovely lavender. She had to admit he was altogether yummy, for a blue guy. She gave him a smile, which made him stumble over his own feet. Wow, he was adorable.
Miss Baker?
he asked looking her up and down several times. He lingered on her breasts.
Yes. But please call me Shawna.
She reached out a hand to shake his.
The tall blue man gently took her hand and shook it. He didn’t let go right away. I am security officer, Guy. Welcome to the Galactic Cage Fighters Association Ship.
He let go of her hand reluctantly and handed her a badge for her to clip onto her shirt. Keep your access badge with you at all times. If you misplace it or lose it, report it to the security office…or to me directly.
He helped her adjust the badge on her shirt, gently moving her long sable brown hair out of the way. If you will follow me, I will take you to the after party. The GCFA officials are getting ready to make the big announcement. Did you have a cameraman with you?
He looked around the lobby.
No. I will take pictures myself as needed for tonight. There was a mix up with the flight itinerary, so the cameraman will arrive tomorrow.
She followed him as he led her down the hallway. She could hear music and a mixture of voices laughing and talking.
How long have you been with the GCFA?
Shawna asked.
Not long. About four months. I am training as a substitute fighter. I want to fight full time though.
Why would you want to do that? It looks dangerous getting beat up all the time.
Shawna just didn’t understand it.
The fighting is rough on the body. As a halfsie, we heal quickly enough. As a fighter the paycheck is a lot bigger and worth a little pain.
How much does a starting fighter with the GCFA make?
Shawna knew she was being nosy, but it was her job as a reporter to ask questions.
He stopped walking and leaned down to whisper in her ear. Shawna looked up at him in shock. Really? That much to start?
He nodded and started walking again. That’s just for amateur ranking. The pros who have the experience can make almost five times that in one circuit.
Holy shit. So senior fighters like Zen and Rage were loaded. Good to know. Will other fighters be at the after party tonight? Like Rage?
He frowned down at the human goddess walking beside him. Rage has a mate.
Huh? Does mate mean he is married?
None of her information said anything about Rage being married. The only fighter that had recently gotten married was Talon.
Rage and Rachel haven’t married in the human way yet, but they are mates. So you shouldn't try to seduce him.
What? I wasn’t…
I am available and I find you very attractive. I would be more than happy to share sex with you,
Guy told her, stopping just outside the double doors leading to the large banquet room. He touched her shoulder lightly, causing goose bumps to appear on her arm.
I appreciate that. I think you are attractive too. But I am not here to…seduce anybody. I was just hoping to get to meet some of the other fighters.
Though she was there to interview Zen, there was another man she had hoped to meet with. She had been waiting a long time for this. For Rage.
Keep me in mind if you decide you wish to share sex. I will leave you here. I have to patrol two more floors tonight.
Guy waved goodbye giving her one more lingering look.
Thanks, Guy. See you around.
She waved goodbye, then turned to open the doors. She was immediately blasted with the sounds and smells. The place was packed full of people.
She plastered a smile on her face when she walked inside. The crowd had a mixture of fans, GCFA officials, and fighters all socializing. A buffet style table was set up on the other side of the room with all kinds of finger foods. A dance floor was in the corner and it was packed full of bodies swaying and gyrating.
She decided to grab her something to eat quickly. She made her way through the throng of people. She was groped a few times by hands that she couldn't find the owners to. She breathed a sigh of relief when she got to the table. There wasn’t a line, so she filled her plate with some fruit and a few chicken strips. She found an empty chair in a spot on the other side of the table. She sat down and ate her food while she observed the crowd. It didn’t take long before she spotted a person who was familiar to her.
Chapter Two
Zen was in the middle of the dance floor sandwiched in the middle of two females. He leaned down to listen to what the pretty blonde female with the large breasts had to say. He didn’t actually care what she said, he just liked the view he got of her luscious mounds every time he bent over. He planned to have her bared within the hour and his cock firmly planted between those soft mounds. He
