It gives me immense pleasure to write the foreword to Mr. Sondeep Patra’s The Tenth Avatar: 2300 AD. The book is, as the author puts it aptly, a step by step guide to personal, professional, and spiritual freedom through yoga and meditation, contemporary concepts in martial arts, principles of management, philosophy, and the various world traditions. A sincere and patient perusal of the wide ranging work will give the reader, the author promises, A unique way to develop yourself. Sondeep delivers on his promises splendidly. The work is erudite and edifying.

Divided into seven sections, The Tenth Avatar cuts across time and space continuum with consummate ease to present discussions on ancient thought on war, modern sports, systems of philosophies, and legends.

Whenever there is decay of righteousness O! Bharatha and a rise of unrighteousness then I manifest Myself! Though the end is inevitable yet there is hope for the believers. And one should not worry about the end but instead prepare for the end, if not in this birth but in several births after this we shall be ready to take God’s side to defeat evil and restore righteousness. And surely God will need the support of the believers to defeat evil and the believers need His support to gain moksha! Either way it is a win win.The7 Special ones selected by the gods ascend in the secret kingdom somewhere in the Himalayas to be trained to become the first superman on earth ready to carry out their special task of saving the human race and the Supreme one’s creation from sure extinction. Here they will be trained to reach the next stage in man’s development that will result in the descent of the super mind. That will provide man total knowledge, full joy and all round perfection. Book Four - The Tenth Avatar - The Reign of King Kalki 2800 A.D A New World The Post Technological society - The Rule of King Kalki After around 500 years from the end of Kalki Age , the intermediatary period, between Kalki Age and Treta Yuga – the King Kalki reigned over the whole world fostering peace,bringing stability, teaching His followers the right way. All traditions had expected their own savoir to save them, and with the end eminent people were waiting. The Hindus waited for the Kalki Avatar, the Muslims for their Mahdi, the Christians – the return of Jesus and so on. They had not been disappointed, though the entries of the Avatars were not dramatic, riding a horse carrying a sword. But the Avatars had already descended, helped by the monks and the 7 sages! And they were working in unison to build a better world. They were laying down the system that would allow the Kreta Yuga to continue forever! 700 years after the end of Kalki and 200 years into Kreta the 7 Manus had marched on to new lands to occupy them. With a road map prepared by the best brains the new world was set up , the Seven Special Ones ( The Tenth Avatar) , were bestowed with the responsibility of ruler ship, benevolent Monarchs in Seven new land masses that had emerged after the Pralaya. The Seven SPECIAL Ones (The Tenth Avatar), the Seven Seers and their respective disciples set forth into the new lands, with seeds, and animals to repopulate the new Earth once again. To establish a new world, one world, one system of governance, uniform educational system, and no religion but universal principles taken from the previous civilization. So The Tenth Avatar goes forth into the new world, In order to protect the good and punish the wicked, In order to make a firm foundation for righteousness. The SEERS set up their respective Ashramas in the Seven Lands, to guide and educate the new society and societies to follow, and their rich traditions shall be carried forward by their followers – the 50 disciples were trained to handle the responsibilities as well as act as educationists. Centres of learning like Old JAGANATH in Bharat, New Lhasa in TIBET, New Taxila in Middle East, New Jerusalem in europia, New Alexandria in Africana, New Lands IN Americana, and Aztec City in Lower Americana – were created and they interacted with each other regularly. The centres were headed by the SAPTA RISHIS. Adwait, Zed, Prince, Beki, Yamantaka, Shreejala, Mo hawk were the rulers helped along with the Seven Seers or Sapta Rishis: Bhrigu, Atri, Kashyapa, Vasishta, Pulastya, Pulalaha and Vishwamitra who advised them. Book Five - The Tenth Avatar The Return Of Ravana , 3500 AD The Evil Returns.When eventually Hitler died – his soul was ordered for suspension. After Hitler there have been sporadic cases of individuals and evil governments and evil forces, like the Taliban’s, evil acts in the form of ethnic cleansing, apartheid. However, in his death Ravana left his legacy and so Hitler also left his legacy, through his embryo hidden in a secret cave in the Alps, guarded by evil spirits. The Embryo was the last hope for his forefathers tracing back to his demon ancestors from the beginning of time itself. And RAVANA no doubt was his ancestor. And according to the rules laid down a soul cannot be kept in perpetuity – it has to be given the chance to take birth. And Ravana’s time of suspension was coming to an end. The mortals were completely unaware of this development so were the Devas. The embryo Ikila-k, the son of Hitler, had started moving in his oval cell covered with jelly – the evil spirits noticed it – then within minutes it took the shape of seven balls each the size of a foot ball – covered with red-bluish jelly. Within minutes they became balls of fire and started spinning on their axis.

Demonic cries reverberated through the caves almost breaking the sound barrier – the spirits cried out in pain and flew out of the cave. The cries created huge tectonic waves, the waves of evil, which were immediately picked up by the Head Monk in the secret Himalayan monastery and the seven sages – because they were given special powers by Brahma, the creator himself – as they were the keepers of the earth system and would be the first to report such activities to the supreme one.When the spirits re-entered the caves they found a pyre in the centre and seven young men grayish in texture – with demonic looks- sitting in meditation surrounding the pyre. They were uttering some strange archaistic slokas – which the spirits were not acquainted with. Obviously it was beyond their comprehension as they were the slokas of the Gods-They had the power to invoke the gods, at will. IKILA-K, the decedents of the evil , had through severe meditation , not only received boons from Lord Shiva , their favorite boon giving God but had entered the realms of the Gods and received boons from Brahma himself. IKILA-K had taken 7 Forms and was in deep meditation – he was in the process of invoking the Gods to come into him and be a part of his evil designs- to fight the last war – a war to demolish the Gods – as Gods can’t die he intended to enslave them under asuric rule , restore Poulama as the king of the underworld and Poulami as his queen, his agenda did not stop here, he intended to destroy the human race- the stooges of God forever, and he shall rule over the earth system and his ancestor RAVANA shall rule the abode of the gods and he would achieve this by getting the Gods to fight the Gods, and Gods to fight the mortals. And who else but The Great Ravana would lead the onslaught. Meanwhile, the Zoroastrians had prophesized that the evil Angra Mainyu which lived in hell would come to destroy mankind and would bring great havoc.

Book Six - The Tenth Avatar Mahabharata-2 The Return of the Immortals! 4300 AD Elsewhere, all evil had ganged up in support of their undisputed leader of evil Ravanna. They had built huge armies of all sorts of strange creatures and fearsome mutations that supported Ravana’s army against the Gods and the mortals.

Masih ad – Dajjal great beast-like creature with one eye good and the other blind had been commissioned by Ravana and he was already making evilpresence felt , his evil followers had mingled with the Innocent followers and incited them and led them against true followers of the Prophet. They were active and millions had joined his forces and were creating havoc all over the world killing the innocent followers of God, in the name of jihad! These extremist groups, the followers of Mash-ad –Dajjal were resorting to terrorist methods killing thousands of innocents, challenging God himself. Besides, through a special boon, Ravanna had enslaved some of the powerful Gods, and was ready to unleash them against the humans! To counter them the Gods, led by Shiva had joined forces with the Earthlings!

Besides, you will definitely find reading this book interesting because it not a direct book on personal development but tries to first discuss the problems facing us on a personal level and problems at an international level and how it impacts our development and impedes our thought process, but we are humans and we know how to adapt and how to change, and in this book you will take the first steps to change when you immerse yourself with the 7 special characters in the book. I have intentionally taken to fiction and mysticism in many parts of the book to transgress and broaden the literal interpretations. Through this route I could I have intentionally. Through this route I could balance traditional thinking with unconventional ideas and blend unconventional ideas with radical thinking that only a free mind can dare. To understand the essence of this better I would end with a quote from a free spirit.In the tenth century a Sufi poet Bin Ata wrote: When men of common parlance question us, we answer them with signs mysterious and dark enigmas; for the tongue of man cannot express so high a truth, whose span surpasses human measure. But my heart has known it, and known of it a rapture that thrilled and filled my body, every part. Sees thou not, these mystic feelings capture the very art of speech, as men who know vanquish and silence their unfettered foe. The book takes you on a long journey of 2000 years starting from 2300 AD. A journey to the future in which together we shall discover what it has for us and our future generation. Introduction

The Beginning or the End!

2500 years ago the Buddha had prophesized the end of the world and there is an opinion that we have entered the last phase of our existence! As of today Buddhism is the largest followed religion, and interestingly it has impacted both Christianity and Islam! We shall analyze that in further chapters. Buddhism is much misunderstood in the western world no less in India. People have a view that Hinduism grew out of Buddhism. So a small discussion is necessary to put the records straight.

The Buddha rejected relying on Vedas for salvation, which included the earliest Upanishads. He redefined Indian cosmology, utilized the same language of the time in teaching people that was Pali , but the meaning he gave to these same terms can be very different.
