The SSAAR Offensive

On Command Shuttle Alpha’s Bridge, Commander William Rochester decreased speed to full atmospheric cruising speed, and entered a medium orbit around Crescent’s equator.

Colonel Jonathan Lencon activated the Video-Audio Communication Screen, and he contacted Crescent Traffic Control.

Colonel Jonathan Lencon said, Crescent Traffic Control, this is Command Shuttle Alpha-A, requesting atmospheric entry and landing, over.

A Traffic Control Officer replied, Command Shuttle Alpha-A, you are clear for atmospheric entry and landing. After entry, decrease speed to 1/8 ACS, and descend to 30,000 feet.

Commander William Rochester entered Crescent’s atmosphere and decreased to 1/8th Atmospheric Cruising Speed. Afterward, he descended to 30,000 feet, and set course for Landing Platform Beta 17-D which was attached to the Senate building.

30 minutes later, Commander William Rochester activated the descent thrusters and landed on the platform. Afterward, everyone got up from their chairs, and proceeded through the passenger section and onto the 14,000 square foot Landing Platform. Two Civilian Security Guards stood at either side of the doors, which led to the main meeting room, which consisted of five floors. The other 20 had Senatorial Offices in them.

Commander Rochester, Colonel Jonathan Lencon, his fiancé, Lieutenant Commander Gabrielle Anderson, Lieutenant Johnny Lencon, and Lieutenant Diana Forrens entered the main meeting area, and sat behind the podium which faced the three walls where the State Senators and Region District Senators sat in booths attached to the wall. Several escalators, that went up the wall allowed Senators to reach the bottom floor.

Meanwhile on Base Matilda 5’s Command and Control, Commander Tallians looked out of the 20 foot plasma window at Amderesta Two orbit below them. Scanner Control Officer, Admiral Lenns activated the long- range scanners, and scanned the 10 million kilometer area which surrounded the base.

In the Officer’s Club, 1st ASCCAF Fleet Commander Angolian sat at the bar with his First Command Officer, General Tonian, and glanced at a datapad on the bar.

It read: From: Amderestan Military Amderestan Region Field Command

To: Commander Angolian, 2nd ASCCATF Commanding Officer

Subject: Combat Deployment Orders

Commander Angolian,

You are hereby assigned to the 375th Amderestan Military Combat Assault Group for a five year deployment in the Southwest Amderesta Region District. You’ll join the 375th AMCAG in the Lenatarn Sectors in three weeks.

Amderesta Region Field Commander Jack Ronnis

Commander Angolian removed his Video-Audio Communicator from his utility belt, and contacted Commander Rochester on VACS channel Alpha Priority one. The image of Commander William Rochester appeared on the six inch screen.

Go ahead, sir. Commander Rochester said, I’m conducting a debriefing on the Second Northern Dwarf Elliptical Galaxies mission to the Senate.

Commander Ronnis is deploying our Combat Assault Task Force to the 375th AMCAG which is in the Lenatarn Sectors in three weeks. Commander Angolian replied.

Meanwhile in the Dancallia Sector, a 450 square light-year area with 387 eight planet systems, and 500 wormhole junction hubs, the 323rd, 454th, 781st, and 501st AMCAGs positioned 2 million kilometers from the western boundary.

Just then, the 301st, and 229th SSAARM Combat Assault Groups exited out of two wormhole junction hubs three million kilometers behind the four AMCAGs and launched a spread of transphasic torpedoes and missiles. Two and a half Combat Assault Groups were destroyed and a third was severely damaged. The 501st AMCAG and the remnant of the 781st AMCAG rotated their ships around to face the 301st and 229th SSAARM Combat Assault Groups.

Combat Assault Group Commander Lonians, who sat in the command chair on Adainsa ASC-1738-I’s Bridge, looked at the tactical display of the two fleets and noticed two groups of SSAARM vessels break formation, and head towards the port and starboard flanks. The 191st, 231st, 584th, and 701st AACAAs flew toward the center of the SSAARM Combat Assault Groups, and launched an attack which destroyed 17 SSAARCACs. The 501st AMCAG flew through the opening, entered the wormhole junction hub in the Kanlanis Nebula, and flew through the wormhole at the 90 degree position to the Acannian System.

500 Light-Years southwest on Tarins One, Seven AAIACs set up ambush positions outside of Rinca City in a heavily forested area, nearby the northern approach into the city. Corporal Tomas, a Special Combat Assault Trooper heard the sound of three Epsilon Class Military speeders rapidly approach their position, put his Rocket Propelled Charge Launcher on his shoulder and got ready to fire. When the first speeder was 100 kilometers from the 210th AAIAC, he fired an RPC at the speeder, and it exploded into a fireball. Corporal Tomas loaded a second RPC in the launcher and fired it at the second speeder, which sent it into a four foot round tree, and it exploded.

Meanwhile in Tarvins City main commercial district, seven destroyed Amderestan Army speeders lined the right side of the main street. Five AM Infantry Assault Patrols positioned at three intersections were fired upon by SSAARM snipers on the 20th floor of the Santurian Weapons Factory. 93 personnel were killed, and 20 were injured from the sniper fire. Three Medical Officers dragged the wounded out from the sniper fire, as Sargent Major Tellans fired seven concussion blasts at the snipers which sent one into a burning speeder on street level.

Just then, a SSAARM Infantry Assault Patrol came up from behind the two AMIAPs and cut off their escape.

Down in the industrial area, Major Tenin’s AAIAP set up a position behind a pallet of Santurian T-109 Blaster Rifles with concussion launchers, and Bazooka Blasters with a Concussion Blaster emplacement, and fired on three SSAARM speeders. Which sent them into the Santurian Hyperlight Reactor Factory, and it destroyed the 17th and 18th floors.

Over in the Klandia Forest, the 109th, 347th, 401st, and 119th SSAARM Infantry Assault Armies captured 19 AMIACs. They led the captured Amderestan Army personnel to four prison transports, and put them inside the passenger sections with armed guards.

Meanwhile in the Talindian Sector, the 304th, 537th, and 609th SSAARM Combat Assault Forces launched a lighting attacking on 70 planetary systems with eight planets in each system. They destroyed planetary defense installations, landing platforms, power generators, and planetary AM Bases before they landed Infantry Assault Groups on the planets.

Back on Crescent, Colonel Jonathan Lencon, and Lieutenant Commander Gabrielle Anderson-Lencon flew over to Crescent Medical Center, which was 150 kilometers northeast of the residential section of town. Colonel Jonathan Lencon landed the Epsilon Class Military speeder on the level 7 platform, and deactivated the speeder. Across the platform, stood a 3rd Year Medical Officer Trainee who had a datapad in his hands. Colonel Jonathan Lencon and his wife, Lieutenant Commander Gabrielle Anderson-Lencon walked past the Medical Officer Trainee who snapped to attention.

At ease, Cadet," Colonel Jonathan Lencon said to the 3rd Year Medical Officer Trainee, Luke Tallans, who was a 17 year old blonde hair, blue eyed Taronian from the Southeast Region District.

Excuse me, sir. Cadet Luke Tallans asked, I believe you met my uncle, Luke Teranis. He was assigned to the Antarian Spacefleet Corps Cruiser Salonia as part of AMOEP about five years ago.

The 82nd Antarian Military Combat Assault Task Force was destroyed by a Blackanian Army planet destroyer near the forest moon of Allian in the Venmeni Galaxy. Colonel Jonathan Lencon replied. There’s a memorial on the grounds of the Antarian Embassy in honor of those killed in action.

I was an ASCSOT for my first year before changing to medical. Cadet Luke Tallans replied. I better let you two get on your way.

Colonel Jonathan Lencon, and Lieutenant Commander Gabrielle Anderson-Lencon entered the building and walked past six exam rooms, nine storage rooms, and the financial Services Office across from the pharmacy. 24 feet down on their right was the Amderestan Spacefleet Corps Medical Infectious Diseases Laboratory. On the door was a 36 by 24 inch sign that read: Infectious Agents Present, Biological suits are required before entry. Directly across was a supply room, and decon chamber for decontaminating the suits after exposure to the biological agents. Colonel Jonathan Lencon, and Lieutenant Commander Gabrielle Anderson, MD put on biological suits and entered the room.

Across the room, Lieutenant Commander John Williams transferred a small bio- hazard container to a three- square foot observation chamber to test the agent’s effects. Colonel Jonathan Lencon passed a long counter with electro- microscopes on it, and came upon crates of agents.

May I help you, Colonel? Medical NCO Staff Sergeant Thomas asked Jonathan

Yes. Colonel Jonathan Lencon replied, You can, I’m looking for Lieutenant Commander Williams. Is he here?

Yes. Staff Sergeant Thomas answered, He’s over by the observation chamber in the center of the laboratory testing some biological agents. There’s a strain of Kilderan’s syndrome going around in the Southeast Parisia Region District. 5 billion people in nine systems have obtained the condition from an airborne biological attack during the PLA uprising. We’ve been spending the last two years trying to find a cure for the strain.

12 hours later, on Amderestan Spacefleet Corps Listening Post Alpha 901-A, Communication Intelligence Officer, Admiral Tanidas sat a monitoring station in Command and Control with a wireless headset on his ears, and went through the VACS channels, looking for anything from the SSAARM. But he came across a message from a Rylon- Tylonian Military vessel on the emergency channel. The voice of 57-Year-Old RTDF Commander Lenian came over the VACS.

Any AM, or RTDF vessel, this is the Acla- RTDF- 1101-J. Commander Lenian’s Voice said, "-under attack from SSAARM Combat Assault Fleet, request- emergen- assis-
