    Homecoming

As Trinity pulls into the small town, she felt the familiar clench in her stomach. It had lessened over the years, but not by much. She just may be over him: Travis Young, the love of her life. Well, at least her life before she moved away from Scottsville, Nebraska. At Gran’s table, looking angry and smug, sits the object of every fantasy she has ever had. A buzz shocks through her body as she meets his gaze, and her stomach twists.

You haven’t visited Marabeth in years, yet you miss her? He shakes his head, his voice heavy with disgust as his eyes travel her body, making the warmth from the hug vanish with an uneasy shiver.

What is he doing here? Trinity feels her heart clench right along with her stomach as her
