The Chastity Diaries Part One

September 20th

I’m not sure why I started this Diary—no, it’s a journal. Diaries are for teenage girls. I started this journal to keep a rolling tab of my life. A sort of index of my time and efforts in all my various plans and endeavors. It’s really for my own edification, but I’ll expound on myself for a bit. Just in case someone else ever opts to read this.

My name is Andrew. I’m 30 years old. I live in the suburbs of a big city. I work as a planner in a government office. I earn a comfortable living. I’m married. My wife, Diana, is a few years younger than me, she works as a counselor at a local high school. We have a decent middle class life. We make mortgage payments on our townhouse, we go out occasionally with other couples, and we watch the latest bad TV shows. The usual stuff. I guess my life is pretty average.

Today I went to work, called my mom, and made dinner. Tonight was my turn to cook. I made lasagna for the first time. Diana didn’t like it, but she never likes how I do anything.

September 21st

Today, after work, I went to the casino. Diana said she was running late for work, and I am not too bad at blackjack. I played a few hands, and actually did pretty well. I made 20 dollars! I got home a little after Diana, and when I told her where I was, she just shook her head. I don’t know why she was mad, when I actually made money. Sometimes I can’t understand her.

September 30

Sorry I haven’t been updating this week. I’ve been going to the casino the past couple nights. Diana has been working late, since the new school year just started she’s been reviewing college applications. As for my blackjack game, I’m in a hole a little bit for the week, but I’m due to turn it around, right? Diana’s making overtime, so I can afford to have some spending money. Besides, once my luck turns around, she’ll be so excited to see all the money I’ve earned. I’ll buy her a new tennis bracelet.

October 10th

I haven’t been good about writing these past couple of days, I know. I’ve been really busy. I hit a great hot streak at the casino. I was up almost 200 dollars! I almost had enough for Diana’s bracelet, but then I overplayed my hand. I ran out of cash, and covered my losses on the credit card. I managed to get back in the game, but I have to win it back before the statement shows up on the 31st. So I’ve been working late all week, trying to win back my money. I just need to get up a few hundred dollars and I’m back in business.

October 22nd

I am so screwed. I tried to win my money back. I tried to do something nice for Diana. It was all for her. But I fucked it all up again. I’m more in debt than ever. I never pulled more than 60 dollars out at any one time. I don’t know how my debt got so big! The card is almost a
