About this ebook

Jake McCabe had separated from his wife Isobel, convinced that the daughter to whom she'd given birth was not his. Proud, and insistent that Emily is Jake's child, Isobel has struggled on alone as a single mother.

But now Jake finds himself in Isobel's life once more and snared again by the same heated desire for her that held him fast when they were first married...and which entangled him in a web of lies and regret. It's all Jake can do to keep control. Seducing Isobel can only add to the tally of their sins, and it won't change the truth of her betrayal...will it?

Anne Mather

Anne Mather always wanted to write. For years she wrote only for her own pleasure, and it wasn’t until her husband suggested that she ought to send one of her stories to a publisher that they put several publishers’ names into a hat and pulled one out. The rest as they say in history. 150 books later, Anne is literally staggered by the result! Her email address is mystic-am@msn.com and she would be happy to hear from any of her readers.

There would have been no forgiveness here. I would have told my mother and Jake, screw you, and moved on. But the heroine doesn't get mother of the year award either. Instead of divorcing Jake and creating a better environment where both her and the daughter could find a better man, the heroine exposes her daughter to the vitriol that is Jake. Get back together, hell no.

Worst father, mother, grandmother ever. The father's logic on why he can't possibly be his daughter's father is worst on record.

This was one of the worst Harlequins I ever read. There was no hero and he should have begged on his knees for forgiveness and he still wouldn't deserve it. The poor child. This was just awful.

Belle let Jake off way too easily. A simple DNA test could have saved a lot of pain and drama, especially for Emily.
