About this ebook
The sequel to Little Women sees the March sisters grow up and experience great love and tragedy in their lives
It is three years since we last met the inimitable March sisters and much has changed since we left them as little women. Meg, the eldest and most sensible of the sisters, is preparing to marry Mr. Brooke. She no longer works as a governess, instead happily looking after her young twins, Demi and Daisy. Jo, as ever the life of any gathering, goes to live in New York as a governess. She is concerned that Laurie, the March girls' friend, may be planning to propose to her and she will have to refuse him because she doesn't love him. Beth, the sweet and kind third daughter, has never recovered from the scarlet fever and is becoming more ill by the day. And Amy, the darling baby, seems finally to be catching up with her sisters. She goes on a tour to Europe, developing her considerable artistic skills and will end up surprising them all by marrying someone the family knows very well indeed. This intriguing sequel is a more mature book that is ultimately just as uplifting as its better known prequel with a strikingly modern message of female empowerment. Includes an extended character profile of Beth.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5To be perfectly honest, I didn't know LMA had written this book. After reading it I realized that the "Little Women" movies I have seen combine this book with "Little Women".This book picks up with Meg's wedding, which happens 3 years after "Little Women" ends. It goes on in much the same way as "Little Women", telling girls lives, Meg as a young wife and mother, Amy the artist going abroad with family, Jo the favorite Aunty and struggling writer, and beloved sweet Beth, even though I pretty sure most of the free world knows what happens, I'm not going to say it here, just in case. When this book ends the girls are married women with babies. The ending sets up the next book in the series "Little Men".
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A lovely book, the sequel to 'Little Women'. The March girls embark on married life, and the book charts their problems and joys. Some very moving moments as well as some light humour.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This book continues the story of the March sisters. I still found it enjoyable and pleasant to listen to, but it was maybe a little more preachy than the first part of the story, and thus possibly doesn’t age as well.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5DNF. Part one of little women kept me reading and interested despite how preachy it was. Part two makes me want to drop dead. It's that boring. I don't care about the girls getting married. Meg's chapters about her married life are enough to make me want to rip my hair out. I cannot bring myself to finish this, and even the audiobook isnt saving it for me. Part one was enough on its own
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I didn't like this book anywhere near so much as I did the first. Still, it had Jo, which made it worth reading in my eyes.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This story is about four sister's each episode. The main character is Jo.They lived togeter but aiter that they lead own life.I think Jo was nice person because if I were her,I couldn't celebrate for Aymy. This book was interesting,I couldn't the last.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This story is four sister's episode.Four sister have each their dream and four will come true actually, but Jo can't go well, and she decided a plan for her dream.I seem that I am similar with Jo.I like to be alone and don't like the conversation with others. However Jo change better because she decided, and she was responed by her sisters.I also change like Jo.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I could handle the old fashioned-ness in Little Women, because it is such a classic, but reading the sequel was too much preachiness for me.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I like this series. four sisters grew older. they are still good sisters. they are all happy. they experienced lots of things.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This book is a sequel to "Little Woman".The story was unexpected development. I was surprised many times.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book show four example of lady's life. March sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy, have different personalities and try to be happy.I think I'm like Jo. She loving reading and writing story and play. But she is not outgoing. So people said Jo is not interesting at all. I can understand her feeling!March sisters are very nice girls. I like them. But, especially, I want Jo to be happy because she is my favorite girl.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is a story about four sisters . Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy March. At first , they lead a happy life together , but then they lived apart.Meg married a clever young man.Amy went to and stay London.Jo went to NewYork.Beth stayed home. And they spent different life.I like Jo very much. She was unsociable, but very kind and loved her family. She was often compared with Amy.Amy is very pretty girl. Everyone loved her. She was very kind girl , too.But I don't like her because she was so innocent that she couldn't understand Jo's feeling. When Amy became happy, I thought Amy's happiness is complex for Jo.If I had been Jo, I wouldn't have been able to celebrate her.But Jo was pleased with Amy's happiness regardless of her loneliness.I was impressed with her tenderness.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is heart warming story. Jo is the main character of this. She has three sisters. Their lives were different from one another's. But they always related and helped each other. That was very impressed me. So please read it!
