About this ebook

Though centuries have passed since Thronos, Lord of Skye Hall, lost the one woman meant for him, nothing can cool his never-ending need for Melanthe. She was the girl he loved and lost as a boy, the girl who nearly destroyed him.

Lanthe, a once-powerful sorceress struggling to reclaim her gifts, searches for love and acceptance with all the wrong immortal men. But she's never forgotten Thronos, the fallen angel who protected her until she was ripped from the shelter of his arms.

With their families at war and the world burning around them, will they succumb to the brutal chaos that threatens everything they cherish? Or can the two rekindle their childhood love in time to save both their worlds?

An excellent read! Dark Skye is the 14th installment in the Immortals After Dark series and its still fresh and exciting world to fall into. Oh, the pair these two make. I wasn't sure if Lanthe and Thronos would find their happily ever after. So much hate and many misunderstandings. But I should have known, Ms. Cole always finds a way. With such turmoil between these two it took me a while to take a liking to them. But in the end I really enjoyed their story. A must read, especially for fans of the series.

Paranormal Romance. Immortals After Dark 14. Thronos and Melanthe. The still continuing aftermath of the island. Vrekeners just aren't as interesting as the were, vampires and demons though. OK+

While this wasn't my favorite in the series (I'm partial to the wolf-boys!), it was another fantastic read!

Loved revisiting the IAD series and this was a very enjoyable instalment, full of adventure, funny banter and lots of romance.

FINALLY! I've been waiting for this story for so long, and I loved it! The angsty enemies-to-lovers thing is right up my alley. This series is still so good, even after 14 installments!

Also, I really, really appreciated a lot of the messaging in this story. The vocal opposition to slut-shaming was awesome, and I enjoyed the criticism of judgmental, conservative hypocrites. I've stopped reading Cole's cohort, Gena Showalter, despite loving her earlier work, because I was so put off by the weaving of conservative Christian messages into her storylines. It was so disappointing, and I am glad to see that I don't need to worry about Cole following suit! Cheers for feminist-leaning romance!

Another awesomely spellbinding story by Ms. Cole! An interesting and entertaining enemies to mates story involving Lanthe the enchantress and Thronos the prince. One time childhood friends that ended in disaster. Their story will break your heart but also leave you with hope for a happily ever after. Looking forward to book 16.

I absolutely loved this! I have been waiting g for their story since Sabine and Lanthe first appeared in the series.

The situation between Lanthe and Thronos was nothing short of complicated. They had such a angst filled past and not very much to look forward in the future. As always, Kresley Cole managed to deliver a sucker punch with her story telling and writing. I can't think about a more exciting ending for these two.

    Ooh, and Nix's plot thickens!!!

Do you like modern women who know what they want and have self-respect? Do you like people able to really compromise in their relationship to make it better, who have an actual partnership? Do you like action hijinks in fantastic realms? You will love this book. It does help to have read the other books in the series though.

This was fun. There's a good deal of adventure, almost a sort of road trip romance really, and the characters didn't get in their own way all that much which was nice. The start of about the fourth quarter started to drag a bit, but it picked back up. I liked these two together.

In my opinion this is definitely the best in the series. Thronos and Lanthe actually feel like they have a relationship where the power is evenly distributed between the couple. Unlike so many of Cole's other stories...
