A classic thriller from the Sunday Times bestselling author of The Eagle Has Landed.
After five years’ hard time, ex-soldier Hugh Marlowe emerges into the free world ready to fight anyone who stands in his way. Rough justice is all he knows.
But when a beautiful, vulnerable woman asks for his help, Marlowe quickly finds himself a world away from the London gangland that he knows in a different life with its own problems.
And its own dangers.
Marlowe can see a light at the end of this tunnel, but the devil is waiting along the way, and not one of his faces is the same…

Reviews for The Thousand Faces of Night
2 ratings1 review
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Typical Higgins type of novel, not up there with his best but still a good read. If you are used to the Jack Higgins that gives blood and gore aplenty you may be slightly disappointed.Hugh Marlowe is fresh out of prison and already his past is catching with him. He has hidden the spoils of his last job and his old collegues want their share. He is forced to leave the area and comes across a struggling fruit farmer and his daughter who are being forced out of business by a local crook. Deciding to stay and help them he risks his freedom and identity. As usual with Higgins the story unfolds with many an unexpected twist.
