      Arabella is a wonderful example of Victorian erotica. We follow the exploits of 17 year old Arabella as she and her cousin are initiated into the ways of love (courtesy of the cousin's father). The writing is good even though the characters aren't terribly unique. The first half of the book is excellent. Unfortunately, it suffers from a fault found in too many books of this type. Where do you go once the heroine has fully explored her sexuality (or done everything anatomically possible)? The last half follows a series of seductions, which, frankly, become rather tiresome after a while. Still, I gave this 4 stars for the first half alone. It's worth seeking out.
