- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I don't think she was quite the villain she was painted to be. She seems to be quite honest (if more than a little crude,) but not ENTIRELY self-aware (though who among us is entirely so?)A quick, interesting read (if you like that sort of thing.)(and...apropos of nothing, i want to go on a reality show and repeatedly say:"I just came here to make friends, and have a good time...")
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5What a great book! My opinion of Courtney totally turned around after reading her book. She writes with wit, humility, and charm all while providing really interesting insight both into the show (The Bachelor) as well as into her relationship with Ben both on and off the show. This is a fun, light read and I highly recommend it.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I knew this book was a guilty read going in. Not sure what I expected, but found nothing exciting or different in this book vs TV. Ok beach read, especially if you watched this season of the Bachelor.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I didn’t know who Courtney was when I started reading this book but omg, she’s as hilarious and she is beautiful which is very. I do remember Ben from Ashley’s season and I remember feeling sorry for him for being rejected AFTER he proposed on camera but after knowing what I know about him now, I think it’s funny and well deserved. I also love the fact that in 2020, his irreverent ass is still single (and aging badly- woof at his current face) and Courtney, who looks exactly the same is now expecting a baby by a much more handsome and successful man who doesn’t look like Francine from the cartoon Arthur .
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I am a huge Bachelor/Bachelorette fan and I loved this book! I was not a fan of Courtney when I watched her season but after reading her side, I completely changed my tune. I also loved all the gossipy bits she included about behind the scenes and other people from Bachelor Nation.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A quick trashy read. Courtney certainly did not go on the show to make friends, and I doubt she'll make any with this tattletale book. Not surprising not many people like her, she's not a very nice person. I had fun reading it because I like the show, but sure as he'll don't like her.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5If this was written for redemption it backfired horribly. I actually didn't mind Courtney until I read this. She tries very hard to manipulate the reader in this poor me sob story. Endless contradictions. Waste of money.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Here's the thing about Courtney's book -- you go into it knowing it's just for fun and not to take it too seriously. If you're an avid Bachelor fan, then this is fun reading, for sure; she gives lots of informational tidbits and even more teasers. However, and I doubt this is the case, if this is Courtney's way of excising the title of "Bachelor villain" from her social media title, then this book did not complete that task. Yes, she tries to explain (make excuses for?) her actions. BUT...she continuously insults people, both those close to her and those who really had nothing to do with her. Some of the information she shared, she didn't HAVE to share to make the book interesting -- she shared it because she wanted to be rude, plain and simple. And maybe that's her goal, to retain her title of Bachelor Villain; this book certainly makes the case for that. It certainly did not make me like her.
