About this ebook

In this dark lesbian fiction book, Reese finds herself the recipient of a sudden windfall, a result of her great grandfather's passing and inheritance. Using the money to make her dream of living out in the country a reality, Reese purchases an old home with a unique history in far upstate New York.

She invites her best friends, two other lesbians, to meet her there for a week to celebrate, but almost immediately strange happenings in the house put a damper on the mood. What at first makes for a good laugh and story, quickly escalates into more and more hair-raising and unexplainable events, which leave the lesbian friends questioning the history of the house, as well as whether or not to stay.

Reese throws a house warming party at the old house when even more, and this time more disturbing, events take place. People start inexplicably disappearing, and when her eccentric friend Jennifer conducts a Ouija board session, several of the participants experience the presence of a malevolent spirit.

With the party guests gone, Reese and her friends go to investigate the still unexplained disappearance of some of the party goers, and that's when things take a very ominous turn. Evil intentions intervene at every turn, and the lesbian friends attempt to flee for their lives. Their attempts to leave fail, and unable to escape the grip of an unseen malevolent spirit the women are thrown into a long and never-ending series of attempts to both find their missing friends, as well as escape the obviously haunted house and property alive.

Find out what and who seeks revenge in this dark lesbian house of horrors tale.

    Chapter 1 –

    Welcome to Your New Home

Reese Bannister always had a fascination with the paranormal. She’d never encountered a ghost within her thirty four years of life but, she would soon come in contact with a spirit that would eventually change her life forever.

She maintained a surge of glee surrounding her pleasant aura. A lovely smile reflected her personality as if nothing would have ever troubled her busy life as an advertising executive living in the big city. She had recently quit her job and was about to start her new life in a desolate part of Upstate New York, away from the rest of civilization. She would now find herself in the midst of a relaxing comfort that she’d so long yearned for, surrounded by only the inhabitants of the country setting. This was exactly the change of pace she was looking for.

It was on the curvy dirt and gravel covered road that led the dark haired, hazel eyed beauty to her destination, when she’d realized it would have never been possible if not for the sudden death of a close relative. Her great grandfather had left her to more than enough money to manage. Overwhelmed by this gracious deliverance, Reese had decided to invite two of her closest friends, Candy Peterson and Carly Matthews, to join her at this expansive historic home that was now hers, for an entire week. She paid for their flights and rented transportation, and they were scheduled to meet her there. In fact, her friends might have even arrived ahead of her. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms and over 5000 square feet of living space, Reese definitely felt like celebrating her new home.

She pulled her champagne accented Cadillac Escalade over just before turning the last curve to this magnificent Victorian style home. She could hear the mild winds whistling as she dropped her forehead atop the steering column and let out a sigh of relief, thanking her deceased great grandfather with a moment of silence as a tear of her appreciation drizzled down her oval face in her time of mourning. After those few sobbing flashes, Reese wiped her face clear of her tears and lifted a heavy foot off of the break pedal. She made that final turn into the clearing, marveling at the gothic inspired sight of her newly purchased home in the middle of nowhere. Reese removed her Burberry trench coat once she stepped out the truck and tossed it into the backseat.

Hey bitch! Candy said in a playful manner from the covered porch, raising a glass of red wine to Reese’s arrival.

Out of the three women, Candy was the eccentric nymphomaniac in the group. A lesbian at heart, her occasion dabbles with the other sex typically occur during one of her raging unexplainable needs for sex. Four years Reese’s senior, the short bright auburn haired socialite stood wearing a bright pink blouse, black mini skirt and shiny high heels. Even out in the middle of nowhere, Candy could always be counted on to be the life of the party. She nudged her girlfriend Carly with her elbow as Reese made her way up the cracked cement steps.

It’s about time you made it, Carly said with sultry eyes and a playful smile. She took a sip of her red wine and then said with a wink, We were about to start the party without you.

It was easy to tell they’d clearly started the party without her already. Two touchy-touchy, staggering sapphos in perky moods that couldn’t seem to keep their hands off each other was enough evidence to suspect them of a recent sensual encounter. Carly’s nipples stood out through her white blouse, and Reese could clearly see that she was not wearing a bra. Carly slowly licked at her lips, moving her tongue from the right side of her mouth to left while gazing upon her beloved and carnal girlfriend, patting her thigh several times before sliding her manicured fingers across the front of her skirt, fondling herself in a drunken stupor of delight. It wouldn’t have surprised Reese in the least if she had caught them in the act.

Reese stopped at the last step, shook her head and gave the two a playful smirk before reaching the top. What have you two been doing, as if I have to ask? she asked in a perky cheer before spreading out her arms for a group hug.

Not a damn thing without you. Candy said. She puckered up and kissed Reese on the cheek with a ‘mwah’ as she pulled away.

The house is beautiful Reese. Do tell us all about. Carly injected, in a mocking snobbish manner.

The three all shared a laugh before walking inside.

The house was more than five thousand square feet from top to bottom. From the entrance hall was a crescent marble stairway leading to the second level; the family living area was on the right. To the left was the family dining area. Beyond that, the gallery, decorated with vases and oil paintings of trains and railroads. It led them to either the first full bathroom or the guest bedroom on the left. A side entrance was located at the end of the hall, and circling back around were the kitchen and a greeting room. Through the greeting room was the library and master bedroom. Through the kitchen was the breakfast area. Around the corner was another restroom, the rear entry on the left and right; courtyard to the left; the covered back patio to the right; and an indoor heated pool and bath at the end of the hall.

Reese stopped them at a pair of double doors which lead into the greeting room. Isn’t this place just incredible! she exclaimed, clasping her fingers together. She vigorously rubbed them together, rocking with excitement. And, you wouldn’t believe the history this place has. I got it for a great price and the story about the house is actually quite fascinating.

It must be. Candy replied. She looked up and down the hallway like it was all still new to her. We’ve been here overnight and still haven’t done the full run-through. Heck, I wouldn’t even be surprised if there are any secret passageways in this place too.

It’s definitely an impressive house Reese. Carly added. I like it, but it kind of gives me the shivers. Maybe it’s because it’s so old, she said, folding her arms with the shakes. She warmed her arms by rubbing her palms across her sleeves. Did you know that early this morning when I was in the kitchen someone moved the stool at the breakfast bar right from underneath me, Carly said while looking at Candy.

Candy laughed. Oh, yeah, right… I wasn’t even in the room with you, she said, pointed at Carly with a sarcastic flip of the wrist, and looked back towards Reese. Girlfriend here was drinking before sunrise. If anything, I bet a little alcohol-induced vertigo caused that stool to move.

Reese smirked nervously at Carly’s account. Readily believing in the paranormal, she definitely could believe it could have been something more. Interesting, she said quickly as she reached for the brass door handle, Well, this house is certainly quite old and one of a kind.

The ladies took their conversation into the greeting room, where the crackling of split logs left an outdoorsy scent as it steadily burned in the brick fireplace. The oval mahogany coffee table sat in between them. There was a wide selection of alcoholic beverages to choose from, from fine wines to hard liquor bottles, even champagne and beer, along with two pair of thongs, one pink and the other blue, mangled in between them. Reese knew that they were probably randomly tossed in their places last night while Carly and Candy were getting acquainted with the house. Next to all the alcohol bottles were three shot glasses, an ashtray full of butts, an empty box of pizza sat to one edge of the table, and three partially filled glasses with some type of clear liquid beside it. The breakfast area was visible from the greeting room, along with a 40" HD flat screen television which hung from its far wall, and the wooden breakfast bar and four stools in its center.

Carly plopped down and lay stretched out on the antique red sofa with gold trim, resting her glass of wine on the floor near her head. Reece sat diagonal to her in a high back black fabric chair, after she first
