About this ebook
Brad is sweet, but doesn't have the best social skills. When he discovers that his favorite Chinese restaurant has fortune cookies that give him clues to living a better social life, he becomes dependent on their messages much to the chagrin of his coworkers and his girlfriend, Rachel. Eventually the fortunes become sassy and withholding and Brad finds himself having to rely on his own communication skills to manage his relationships.
Comical and sweet. A story of geek love.

I’m a graduate of the intensive six-week Science Fiction and Fantasy program, Clarion West. My short stories and poems have appeared in Evergreen Review, Forge Journal, Cadillac Cicatrix, Willard & Maple, Sanskrit, Dos Passos Review, Louisiana Review and Red Wheelbarrow. All of my work focuses on the use of imagination and altered states while crossing genre lines between realism and magical realism. I use my wry sense of humor to bring the best out of my characters as well as the people I interact with in my daily life. For three years I lived in Wilmington, North Carolina where I worked up a storm writing a novel about hurricanes. Last year I moved back to my native Vegas with the hopes of taking part of the creative magic in this vibrant city. Recently, I started a literary magazine based in Las Vegas named Helen. My work as a certified creativity coach is focused on helping others in realizing their creative life too.
