The story line was too disjointed and it didn't make any sense. The book was so jumpy that I couldn't finish. It's rare that I don't finish a book. Sorry but this is the first and last attempt to read this author. Reading should be relaxing not frustrating.

I like Sizemore's writing style. However, I really have no clue what this book was about. It was easy to read, but I think I started too late in the series although paranormal romance series tend to work as standalones. I was a little confused as to the relationships between all of the characters.

Jason Cage is known in Las Vegas as "The Beast Master", no-one knowing that he is in fact a vampire. His telepathic skills were used before to tame wild werewolves. Sofia Hunyara is ignorant of her heritage and her ability to also control werewolves. She lives in fear of dogs since some tried to attack her when she was younger. Shortly before her father was convicted of murder.Jason has to get Sofia to accept her powers and to join the good guys before the bad guys control her. But can he control his feelings for her.It's pretty predictable, with some plot details glossed over and some places where I had to wonder if things were going to go badly for the characters, still quite readable.

As with Primal Heat, I really enjoyed this book. I feel more comfortable with this story now that I've gotten used to this world and figured out more of the background that wasn't expressly told to us. Can't wait to read the next book!
