Carey's voyage into the Next Generation, takes the reader beyond the original Teleplay and to a second part, which adds to the original story line.Not to spoil it for readers but the different are drawn together and some what meld together. But as always be careful of the Borg!!This work is a old 1993 edition. So it has been out there for decades, still was a good read, for old Trekkies, it just one more novels of the Next Generation.
