      Don't get me wrong, I love Chicken Soup for the Soul stories. However, in reading this Christmas collection, I realized there was lot of similar underlying themes in this particular volume. Grieving people or people who lost their homes or dealing with poverty (either theirs or others'). Basically, it's about how many people find themselves at their end of rope at Christmas time, then something happens to make them realize Christmas is special after all. I admit I shed a tear at a few stories. There's some humorous accounts but they are few and far apart.

      101 stories that will make you smile, laugh, and cry. Well worth the read and should be a must read at Christmas.
