Reviews for The Forgotten War
1 rating1 review
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This was an interesting story. It was a couple of different, but classic Sci Fi plots waved into one. First there's the 'newfound' civilization that is actually descendants of an old craft that was sent into the cosmos. The second plot line is two sides fighting a war that is finished in the general 'real' world, but two small groups (relative to the rest of the universe they're small) for some reason are somewhere remote and don't know that the war is over and so they're still fighting it.The combo of the stories is interesting, and there's also a couple of wildcards that make the novel interesting. There was one thing that was a little annoying, the author was under the mistaken impression that Captain Picard's quarters were right off the bridge. They're not. That made me pause and groan every single time he mistakenly put it into the narrative.Other than that it was definitely a solid three star book. Upper three stars even.
