Before the advent of Buddhism and emergence of Emperor Ashoka, there were hundreds of small kingdoms in South-East Asia. Most of the kingdoms were ruled by powerful and, often cruel, kings.
The oceans in the regions teemed with sea pirates. The traders could only complete their voyages across the seas with the help of their private soldiers.
The sea traders from several kingdoms were involved in trade with small island states in the region which is now known as Pacific and Indian Ocean.
The story that you are going to read is inspired by the historical events and historical characters who were real life people and they had lived the life that you are going to read about.

Preface

The story that you are going to read is inspired by the historical events and historical characters who were real life people and they had lived the life that you are going to read about.
It is a love story with extreme opposition to the concept of love and union which is generally acceptable to the people.

Thundering sea like an unfathomable monster was making its presence felt by tossing the boat up and down its waves. The boat had been sailing smoothly a day before but tonight it was quite horrible. There was darkness, terrible noise of the storm, and unprecedented fear.
