With high morals, imagination and a delicious craze for fantasy, The Rostical Guild and The Rostical Users were born.Written like it's a script from a video game in an originally styled format, we hope to play our adventures in a game one day!Michael Rogers, an author that absolutely hates reading (even his own series) and has never read a full adult sized book in his life, is a prime example that you can do anything once you've set yourself a goal or dream. He has poured his life, sweat, tears and blood (yes, paper cuts hurt!) into his work. It may not be the literature you're used to, but he guarantees, if you give it a go, you'll fall in love with the characters like he has.Any questions or enquiries, you may contact me here; rostical@live.com

    Chapter 1: Unexplained Motives

*The research facility was quiet and dark, only the lights emitted from the Rosterology consoles shined in the room.*

Riddle: *He sunk into the seat, lowering his head.* "I really wanted to see what it was like in there." *He mumbled to himself, remembering the aura-like rainbow coloured shield.*

Rosterology Pillar: No results on Valkyrie.

Riddle: *He quickly looked up to the screen and sighed.* "Nothing?" *He closed his eyes and rubbed the temples underneath his glasses.*

    Rosterology Pillar: No results on-

Riddle: "I know." *He stood up with a grunt and walked out of the facility in a trance-like state.*

*Riddle dragged his feet along the ground, making his way towards the Inn.*

Riddle: (My memories are flooding back.) *He looked down in thought, causing him to not notice the enormous tornado-like swirl of fire in the far distance.*

*Riddle walked into the Inn, causing the floor to squeak with every step.*

Riddle: *He entered his room and collapsed on the bed, staring at the ceiling.* (A very long time ago.)

    ----------

Riddle: *He walked with a man through a beautiful forest, looking at a large lake.* Do you get the hypothesis in the formula?

    ?????: I get it.

    Riddle: Superb-

    ?????: Ha ha.

Riddle: What is it? *He looked at the man, staring at his glasses in confusion.*

?????: "My name is Ridz and I'm the incredibly smart." *He chuckled, glancing at Riddle in a condescending, playful-like manner.*

Riddle: "You have nothing to worry about, Gabriel."

Gabriel: "Ha ha, sure, just because you're the genius of the city." *He punched Riddle on the shoulder.*

Riddle: *He sighed, rubbing his shoulder.* "You've always had such a strange way of displaying compliments."

Gabriel: But seriously, I just want to protect everyone. *He took several steps, kicking a rock into the lake.*

Riddle: *He watched the water ripple, nodding his head in agreement.* I know, so do I-

*A high pitch scream echoed in the forest, causing a flock of birds to fly away.*

    Gabriel: W-What was that?

Riddle: I don't know. *He looked startled, staring at a cluster of bushes in front of him.* Whoever it is, sounds like they're in trouble!

Gabriel: *He closed his eyes, pushing up his glasses.* Let's go- *He watched Riddle run towards the bushes, waving his arms in shock.* We don't know what's out there!

Riddle: Someone is in trouble. *He took large adamant-like steps, running towards the sound of the squeal.*

Gabriel: (We don't even know what the reason was, for warranting such a scream-) *He gritted his teeth in thought, chasing after Riddle.*

Riddle: *He took deep breaths and squinted his eyes, running through the bushes.* (All I want is to protect people.)

Gabriel: Ridz, w-wait up! *He awkwardly stepped forward, as his robes became entangled in the bushes.*

Riddle: *He ran into a small clearing and gasped with widening eyes.* (A Scoldrant! And it's enormous!) *He stared at a large Scoldrant, watching it arch over a small child.* B-Boy! Are you okay?!

Scoldrant: Groarh? *It quickly tilted its head up, staring at Riddle.*

Child: I-I was just exploring th-the forest t-to help activate my Remenistal powers! *He whined in fear, sobbing each word.*

    Riddle: Just relax!-

Gabriel: *He stumbled behind Riddle, recovering his body posture.* Ridz, what is it?

Riddle: Umm- *He looked over his shoulder, stepping back in shock.* Scoldrant-

Scoldrant: *It looked down and glared at the boy, causing him to fall unconscious.* Groarh! *It stood up and faced Riddle, taking several steps towards him.*

Gabriel: W-We didn't think this through- *He mumbled at Riddle, intensely staring at the Scoldrant.* Did we?

Scoldrant: Grrraaaorrrrr. *It raised its arm and streams of lightning flashed around its wrist.*

Riddle: *He stared at the lightning with widening eyes.* (It knows-)

Gabriel: "Ridz, it's a Remenistal using Scoldrant. We need to run!"

Riddle: (I shouldn't be called a genius by doing things on impulse like this-) *He tightened his hands and gritted his teeth, bracing himself.*

    Gabriel: Ridz?!

Riddle: I need to save the child, Gabby.

Gabriel: *He sighed and smiled, reaching up his sleeve.* What do you want me to do? *He calmed himself down, pulling out a plank of wood.*

Riddle: *He looked at Gabriel, nodding his head with a smile.* Judging by our distance and calculating its possible Neuron output, the Remenistal will strike in fourteen seconds.

Gabriel: And I care about statistics? *He tightened his grip around the plank, causing it to fold out and curve.* (Easy storage-) *A string connected the ends, forming itself into a large bow.* Any weak spots?

Riddle: *He mumbled, observing the Scoldrant from top to bottom.* The Neurons are weakest in its left arm.

Gabriel: Left arm? *He pushed his glasses up, raising the bow in confidence.*

Scoldrant: *It took a step forward, suddenly flashstepping behind Riddle and Gabriel.* ...

    Riddle: Gabby!

Gabriel: Got it. *He quickly spun around on one foot, pulling the string back.* (This feeling is fantastic!) *He smirked and tilted his head to the side, squinting one eye.*

Riddle: *He watched the Scoldrant lean over Gabriel, raising its arm in the air.* (It's going to hit Gabriel?!)

Scoldrant: Rrrrrarh. *It formed a fist, causing flashes of lightning to spark around its body.*

Gabriel: *An arrow made of wind hummed around his bow.* (Need a little more time-)

Riddle: (There's no time-) *He frowned in desperation, jumping in front of Gabriel.*

Scoldrant: Groar! *It punched Riddle on the shoulder, causing strings of lightning to burn his clothing.*

Riddle: Arh! *He fell to one knee, grunting in pain.*

Gabriel: (Sorry, Ridz-) *He flicked the string, blasting the arrow into the Scoldrant's chest.*

Scoldrant: Grarh!- *The arrow pushed the Scoldrant back, scraping its feet along the ground.*

Riddle: *He watched the arrow burst into a pulse of wind, blowing his hair and robes back.* (Gabby's power is unique-)

Gabriel: (This one will explode-) *He raised the bow and flicked the string, firing off another arrow.*

Scoldrant: *It shook its head and stepped forward.* Garh-

*The arrow hit the Scoldrant on its side, causing it to violently twirl and awkwardly step back.*

Gabriel: *He looked down at Riddle, shaking his head with worry.* (Ridz, you fool.) *He dropped the bow, causing it to fold back into a plank of wood.*

Riddle: Gabby? *He looked up, holding his shoulder in pain.*

Gabriel: *He watched the Scoldrant stare at the arrow in confusion, running up to Riddle.* You alright?!

Riddle: Direct hit, Gabby? *He smiled, wiping a stream of blood off his arm.* Your aiming is getting better. *He focused his attention on the arrow, watching the wind violently swirl around it.*

Gabriel: Yeah. *He leant over Riddle, watching the arrow suddenly burst out of the Scoldrant's back.*

Scoldrant: *It stumbled back and stopped, groaning on its breath.* Garh? *It looked up and glared at Gabriel, holding its side in pain.*

Riddle: *He silently stared at the Scoldrant, watching it turn around.* (It felt like the Scoldrant was smiling at us?)

Gabriel: "Yeah, and never come back!" *He shouted in victory, watching the Scoldrant awkwardly run into the forest.*

Riddle: *He coughed and stood up, taking a sigh in relief.* Phew.

Gabriel: You're such an idiot. You don't know Remenistal.

Riddle: "Only because I haven't had the time to practice." *He looked over his shoulder, staring at the boy.*

Gabriel: *He placed his hand on Riddle's shoulder and smiled.* "You've got Astragons and Neurons."

Riddle: *He looked down, staring at Gabriel's hand in confusion.* That's a known fact. What's your point?

Gabriel: Do you know how many people would kill to have the ability to use Remenistal?

Riddle: I know, I know. I will when-

Gabriel: *He turned around and rolled his eyes, walking towards his weapon.* I will when I finish my research. *He sarcastically grumbled, pretending to be Riddle.*

Riddle: Don't mock me. *He smirked, stretching his arm.*

Gabriel: But, thank you for stepping in. *He picked up the wooden plank, pushing up his glasses.* How are you feeling anyway?

Riddle: *He touched his shoulder, forming a fist.* "Fine, it's just Neuron residue which really caused the pain."

    Gabriel: Excellent-

Riddle: Speaking of research, I heard you've been doing some yourself!

Gabriel: Yes, I have. *He looked at Riddle, walking towards the boy.*

    Riddle: "So? What is it?"

Gabriel: *He stopped and looked down at the boy, preparing to pick him up.* About energy conversion.

Riddle: In regards to what formula?

    Gabriel: Changing and re-directing Neurons.

Riddle: What sparked this? You should've asked for help.

Gabriel: *He picked the boy up with a grunt, carrying him on his back.* I'm experimenting with shields.

Riddle: "Shields? Hmm?" *He nodded his head with curiosity.*

Gabriel: I'll tell you on the way. *He smiled at Riddle, walking towards the forest.*

    ----------

The Wise: Locki, Pepper, Lorilei, Raphael and Cassidy. *His voice echoed, causing five people to flashstep in the middle of a dark room.*

Locki: *He stood underneath a single ray of light, placing a fist on his chest.* You summoned us?

The Wise: The party of The Sacred Knights.

Locki: *He lowered his head and looked at the party, watching them bow in respect.* Your orders?

The Wise: "We have picked up some unusual Neuron signatures near the Twilight Forest."

Pepper: I say, the Twilight Forest?

Locki: "In respect, why summon the five of us for such a petty task?"

    Lorilei: I agree?

The Wise: Locki, as you are aware, three of your party members have been selected to become the next Valkyrie.

    Locki: Yes?

The Wise: Having said that, we still need one of The Sacred Knights in active duty.

Lorilei: (First they ban us from going out of the divine kingdom, now they want us to do the opposite?)

    Pepper: To investigate-?

Locki: Duty for what? *He interrupted Pepper, showing authority.*

The Wise: Due to the importance of the Valkyrie, we felt the best decision would be placed in your hands.

    Locki: Thy do not understand?

The Wise: Please choose the appropriate party member.

    Raphael: (For active battle?)

Locki: (After catching Cassidy with that peasant, I've personally banned him from the continent.) *He looked at each party member, watching them stare at the ground.* (Pepper, Lorilei and myself have been nominated to become the Valkyrie, so Raphael would be the best choice.)

The Wise: Have you made your decision?

    Locki: Raphael.

Cassidy: (I knew he wouldn't pick me after finding out about Serena.) *He kept his head down, discreetly frowning in thought.*

Raphael: The Wise? *He grunted with respect, looking up.*

The Wise: You will be sent down shortly. We have important matters to discuss, leave us be.

Locki: Of course, Sacred Knights! *He grunted, causing the party to flashstep out of the room.*

    ----------

Riddle: You know, it's actually a good thing.

Gabriel: What makes you say that? If I had enough Astragons, I would be using as much Remenistal as I can. *He looked up and stared through the treetops, gazing at the clouds.*

Riddle: "Well, due to heaps of research, I've learnt the formula to choose what my affinity is."

    Gabriel: Haha, very funny.

    Riddle: I-I'm serious?

Gabriel: "I know you're a genius and all, but, someone is born with an affinity."

Riddle: That's correct, but only when a Remenistal has been used.

Gabriel: What are you talking about?

Riddle: "One is born with a favoured affinity, I can certainly agree to that. But once the subject uses Remenistal, it sort of locks that affinity."

    Gabriel: "You can't be serious."

Riddle: *He proudly nodded his head.* Yes. I found it all very fascinating.

Gabriel: Assuming you're correct, what element are you going to acquire?

Riddle: I'm thinking ground or lightning.

    Gabriel: Ground or lightning?

Riddle: They're the most- *He paused, looking up in thought.* I don't have a reason.

    Gabriel: Maybe water or fire?

    Riddle: Hmm?

Gabriel: For practical reasons? Such a lighting a camp fire, or drinking the water.

Riddle: *He grunted, nodding his head in agreement.* You have a valid point.

Gabriel: *He walked through a warp in the air, watching the scenery around him change.* We just entered the last Spacial Funnel.

Riddle: *He nodded his head, stepping into a large clearing.* (Nearly at Silver Wind Island.)

*The landscape consisted of unusual slopes and a running river, causing patches of mud to erode around the water.*

Riddle: *He stared across the clearing and sighed.* (I always get mud on my boots when I walk across here-)

Gabriel: This kid is pretty lucky we were here.

    Riddle: Yeah-

*A group of Scoldrants silently staggered behind Riddle and Gabriel.*

Gabriel: Do you feel them? *He mumbled under his breath, continuing to walk forward.*

Riddle: Yes. (I planned to learn Remenistal a few months from now, so I'll just be in the way-) Gabby, give me the child. *He stared in front, pretending not to notice the Scoldrants behind him.*

Gabriel: (I'm not good at sensing, so I won't tell until I fight them. But this could be a life threatening battle-)

*One of the Scoldrants roared, causing the others around it to become aggressive.*

Riddle: *He gasped and quickly turned around.* (There's five!)

Gabriel: Ridz! *He grunted on his breath, facing the Scoldrants.*

Riddle: (The Scoldrants aren't strong, but-) *He quickly grabbed the boy off Gabriel's back, cautiously stepping back.* (We aren't prepared to fight them!)

Gabriel: *He reached up his sleeve, pulling out the plank of wood.* (I will do my best.) *He mumbled in thought, standing in a battle-ready pose.*

Riddle: *He stood in the background, watching Gabriel from behind.* (Those Scoldrants, what bad timing! And we're so close to home too.) *He looked past Gabriel, glancing at the group of Scoldrants.*

Gabriel: Ridz. While I keep them busy, I want you to run to Silver Wind Island-

Riddle: "No, never." *He awkwardly stepped forward, carrying the boy on his back.*

Gabriel: *He smiled.* You're a genius, what's the percentage of us walking away?

Riddle: ... (Under these circumstances, five percent.)

Gabriel: (He's quiet.) *He lowered his head, watching the plank unfold itself into a bow.*

*The largest Scoldrant roared, causing two Scoldrants to charge for Gabriel.*

Gabriel: Here we go. *He mumbled under his breath, taking a step back.*

Riddle: (Please Gabby, don't do anything foolish.)

Gabriel: *He pulled the string back, shooting an arrow-like wind towards the Scoldrants.* (Come on, hit?) *He watched the arrow soar past the two Scoldrants and smiled.* (Direct hit!-)

*A swirl of wind pulsed around the arrow, exploding the dirt and mud in front of the Scoldrants.*

Riddle: (He missed the two Scoldrants, but hit the group behind them? Was that intentional?)

Gabriel: *He bent his knees, preparing for the Scoldrants.* (I may not look it, but I'm well adapt to fighting-)

Scoldrant: *It ran into striking distance, raising its arm.* Gerrrhh.

Gabriel: *He looked at his feet and smiled.* (Mud-) *He jumped back and pushed forward, sliding underneath the Scoldrant.*

Riddle: (Gabriel is one of the few people who has mastered wind based techniques in his own movements, without needing to use Azure Bursts-)

Gabriel: *He slid in between the Scoldrant's legs, pulling the string back.* "Take this." *He flicked the string, causing a burst of air to pierce through the Scoldrant's body.*

Scoldrant: Gargh-? *It gargled blue blood, suddenly collapsing onto the ground.*

Riddle: *He observed the other Scoldrants.* (It's unusual the others haven't attacked us all at once?)

Scoldrant: *It looked down and stared at the other Scoldrant, causing it to grunt in anger.* Grarh! *It slid past Gabriel, as it tried to stop.*

Gabriel: *He continued to slide along the mud, watching the Scoldrant's feet dig into the ground.* (Couldn't stop itself?) *He armed the bow and smirked, pulling the string back.* Hurh.

Scoldrant: *A blast of wind knocked it of its feet, causing it to tumble across the ground.* Gra-

Gabriel: *He listened to the Scoldrant's screeches.* (Sorry for the pain, I intended to finish you off-)

Riddle: (He's already taken down two of the Scoldrants!-) Good one, Gabby! *He cheered in the distance.* (He's getting stronger! His air arrows shoot at amazing speeds.)

Gabriel: *He turned around and smiled, staring at the group of Scoldrants.* Sorry, but for justice- *He watched the largest Scoldrant step forward.*

Scoldrant: Roooarhh! *It tensed its body up and a sudden shadow-like pulse blew the surrounding dirt away, as the air around its body radiated darkness.*

    Gabriel: "What-?"

*The two Scoldrants Gabriel attacked, suddenly flashstepped next to the largest Scoldrant.*

    Gabriel: (What?! They were alive-?)

Riddle: *He gasped in shock, watching the Scoldrants clutter together.* (Those two Scoldrants got back up! But I swear he defeated them?!)

Gabriel: *He tilted his head towards Riddle, continuing to stare at the Scoldrant in confusion.* "Ridz, what is that around them? Shadow?"

Riddle: I don't know? *He spoke on his breath, watching the darkness radiate around them.* Perhaps it's just Astragons?

Gabriel: "But why is it dark?"

Scoldrant: *It stepped forward and flashstepped behind Gabriel.* Growph.

Riddle: Gabby! *He stepped forward, helplessly watching from the sidelines.* (This is so frustrating just standing here.)

Gabriel: *He slowly turned around and watched streams of lightning flash in front of his face.* Wha- *A pulse of thunder blasted him across the ground towards the other Scoldrants.*

Riddle: (I don't believe it, the Scoldrants are acting as a party! One of the Scoldrants knocked Gabby towards its party!-) *He fidgeted on the spot, watching the Scoldrants prepare to attack Gabriel.*

Gabriel: *He tumbled across the ground, causing mud to slap him across the eyes.* Oof- *He slammed into a Scoldrant's leg, leaning against it in shock.*

Riddle: (I have to do something or my best friend-) *He bent his knees, gently placing the boy on the ground.* (What should I do?)

Gabriel: (I'm winded, what just happened?)

Riddle: *He watched the largest Scoldrant walk towards Gabriel.* (The one that radiates the most darkness-?) S-Stop!

Scoldrant: *It glanced at Riddle, suddenly flashstepping in front of him.* Gerph!

Riddle: *He stepped back, raising his arms in an unprepared-like manner.* H-How can it flashstep?

Scoldrant: *It raised its arm and twitched its fingers, aiming its razor sharp claws at Riddle.* Harh-

*A ray of light fell from the sky and blasted in between Riddle and the Scoldrant, forcing them back into the air.*

Riddle: *He quickly scanned the area, before slamming onto the ground.* (The light came from the skies?!)

*A sphere of white light grew and expanded on the ground.*

Riddle: (That's where that light landed? What am I talking about? Light, that doesn't make sense?!) *He rubbed his head, standing up in pain.* (My chest hurts.)

*The light swirled and dissipated, revealing a man in white armour.*

Riddle: *He gasped with widening eyes, shaking his head in disbelief.* W-What? W-Who are you?!

?????: *He slowly tilted his head back, staring at Riddle with an emotionless face.* Call me Raphael. *A white cape blew in the wind behind him.*

Riddle: *He took short breaths, staring at Raphael in amazement.* (His Neuron signatures. They're different? I don't understand.)

Scoldrant: *It puffed with frustration and stood up, glaring at Raphael.* Holy one.

Riddle: *He gasped, pointing at the Scoldrant in shock.* I-It can talk?!

Raphael: Foul beast. It's long lived and has acquired several tricks?

Gabriel: *He wiped mud off his face and stood up, slowly facing the Scoldrant.* (The Scoldrant doesn't even care I'm here? They're staring at that man?) *He quietly stepped back and lost his balance, suddenly collapsing to the ground.* (Something is wrong-?)

Scoldrant: You dare mock the power of my dark power?

Raphael: Dark affinity is usually acquired through blood sacrifices or passed on by contaminated Neurons, your power will not shock me the slightest.

    Scoldrant: So you know?

Raphael: *He held his head, recalling when the Scoldrant forced him across the ground.* (That dark aura. Was it that attack that's making me feel light headed?)

    Riddle: Are you okay, Gabby?!

Gabriel: *He shook his head.* (I get the feeling that man is going to fight the Scoldrants. I should take the opportunity while they're still distracted and get out of the way.)

Riddle: *He picked up the boy and quickly walked up to Gabriel, staring at Raphael.* Gabby-

Gabriel: "Who is he?" *He nudged his head to Raphael.*

Raphael: *He watched the Scoldrants sidestep closer to each other.* (Our mission is to confront the elemental cousins and find out what has happened in the city. It would be wise not to receive any damage.)

    Riddle: Raphael-

Gabriel: "When did he get here? And how did he get here?" (I'm really confused.)

Riddle: I- *He gritted his teeth in confusion, watching the Scoldrants slowly gather in a group.* (What are they doing?)

Raphael: (Thy was going to talk to the ruler of Silver Wind Island, but the dark arts caught my immediate attention.) "Such blasphemy-" *He watched blue strings connect between the Scoldrants.*

Gabriel: What? They're glowing black? *He mumbled under his breath in astonishment.*

Riddle: "The Scoldrants? They're merging into one entity?"

Gabriel: "Ridz, seriously, what's happening?" *He watched the Scoldrants lose their shape, as the dark shadow-like figure grew in size.*

Raphael: But it puzzles me. How did something so small learn the dark arts?

    Riddle: Dark arts?

    Gabriel: What's that?

Riddle: I don't- *He paused in utter confusion.* "Nothing? I've never heard about it." *He checked to see if the boy was fine.*

Scoldrant: The dark element, gives us the ability to merge by channelling our Neurons-

*An enormous Scoldrant stepped out of the dark shadows, causing Riddle and Gabriel to gasp in shock.*

Raphael: Answer thy question, how did one so small obtain the dark elements?

    Scoldrant: We don't know-

Raphael: So be it!- *He flashstepped in mid-air in front of the Scoldrant and feathers materialised in his hand.*

    Gabriel: (He's fast!-)

Raphael: Humph. *He landed next to the Scoldrant, noticing blue blood stream down his arm.* Disgusting.

Scoldrant: Ghuh. *It watched its arm fall to the ground.*

Gabriel: That Scoldrant is powerful and the man is simply worried about the blood on his arm?

Riddle: Is that-? *He squinted his eyes, watching a sword materialise from the feathers in his hand.*

Raphael: O' divine sprits, bring forth your power- *A white glyph shined underneath his feet.* Light gather and consume the sun's rays, HOLY LANCE

    Gabriel: "A white glyph?!"

    Riddle: "Inconceivable!"

Raphael: *He smirked, raising his arm.* Fiendish fiends, out of my sight!

Scoldrant: *White strings suddenly wrapped themselves around the Scoldrant, rendering it motionless.* What is this? *It stared at its shoulder, watching the string-like light burn its flesh.*

Raphael: *He quickly turned around, causing his white cape to flap in the wind.* Useless.

Riddle: *He looked up, noticing a twinkle of light in the sky.* (What's that-?)

*A white spear pierced through the air and struck the Scoldrant through its head, causing the ground to explode into pieces.*

Scoldrant: G-G-G-G-? *It gargled blue blood, as an immense shock wave blasted around it.*

Gabriel: *He watched a blinding light disintegrate the Scoldrant into nothing.* (As a researcher, I'm finding this entire fight unbelievable!-)

Raphael: *He closed his eyes, walking past Riddle and Gabriel.* (Nothing can defeat the power of Radiatons, the power of light.)

Riddle: (He d-destroyed that Scoldrant with one attack!) *He stared at Raphael in amazement and disbelief.*

    Gabriel: E-Excuse me, Rafael?

Raphael: *He stopped and sighed.* "Hmm? Speak at a fast pace, thy have certain errands to return to."

Gabriel: W-What-are-you? *His body twitched, as he tried to contain his excitement.*

Raphael: (They won't understand. Thy might as well lie.) Thy am a Valkyrie.

    Riddle: A Valkyrie?

    ----------

Riddle: A Valkyrie, Valkyrie, Valkyrie. *He mumbled in his sleep.* Gah- *He gasped and woke up covered in sweat.*

*Riddle looked around confused, wiping sweat off his forehead.*

Riddle: (A dream?) *He smirked and leant up, hanging off the side of the bed.* (Of course it was. I'm such a fool.)

*Riddle looked at his palm and read something.*

Riddle: (Not even an hour has past?) *He sighed and yawned, materialising a book in his hand.* (Back to research then.)

    ----------

Tyler: *He walked towards the research facility and noticed Season standing motionless in front of his manor.* S-Season? What are you doing up this early?

Season: *He looked up, staring at a massive orange smoke cloud in the sky.* "I was so caught up in my research, I didn't even realise this."

    Tyler: Realise what?

Season: ... *He looked over his shoulder and stared at Tyler, pointing up to the sky.*

Tyler: *He looked at the smoke cloud, tilting his head in confusion.* The clouds?

    Season: Smoke clouds.

    Tyler: Smoke? F-Fire?!

Season: I know what it's from. But I don't know what happened.

Riddle: *He walked out of the Inn, instantly noticing Season and Tyler.* Sorry, have I missed something?

Season: (I can't-) *He closed his eyes, placing his hand on his chest.* (Feel his Neurons.)

    Riddle: Season, sir?

Tyler: T-Tell us what happened? *He touched Season on the shoulder, stuttering with concern.*

Season: *He turned around and faced Riddle and Tyler.* Sorry to have you both see me like this. *He struggled to speak, hiding his sadness.*

    Riddle: ...

Season: What have you two been up to?

Riddle: "I've been doing non-stop research about the rainbow coloured aura."

Tyler: *He paused, staring at Season.* (Why is he so sad?)

    Season: Tyler?

Tyler: "O-Oh, I was trying to find why my body can't use Neurons or Astragons."

    Season: Any luck?

Tyler: *He shook his head, looking at Riddle.* Any new information about the aura you encountered?

Riddle: None thus. You know- *He looked up.* "I was so happy to finally use my Rostical, the dark arts-"

    Tyler: (Just rub it in-)

Riddle: "And they're the very reason why I couldn't experience the most treasured thing."

Season: *He inhaled and sighed.* I've been meaning to ask. How do you know the dark arts?

Riddle: It was my affinity. *He shrugged his shoulders, pushing up his glasses in confusion.*

Season: Hmm. *He turned around, staring back at the smoke.* Okay.

Tyler: *He yawned, rubbing his cheeks.* (It's early in the morning and it's already really hot.)

Riddle: Did you two get any sleep?

Tyler: No. *He shook his head, rubbing sheets of paper in his hands.*

Season: "Hohoho, did any of us?"

    ----------

Lance: (Sweat dripped off our faces, as we walked through the scorching heat of Gasher Hills.) *He dragged his feet in the sand, sighing in thought.* (I miss you, Millard-)

Alicia: *She flicked frizzed hair out of her face, rubbing her red eyes.* H-How are we going to tell the others about Millard-? *She stumbled to one knee, struggling to keep her eyes open.*

Lance: A-Alicia-? *He looked over his shoulder and coughed, glancing at Alicia with double vision.* (We've been walking for hours.)

Alicia: (The sun is at its peak and we've walked non-stop-) I-I'm so weak.

Lance: (I knew we should've took the time to rest.) *He collapsed on his hands and grunted, crawling towards Alicia.*

Alicia: *She gasped for air and coughed, blowing sand away from her face.* S-Sorry, Lance. We should've taken your advice.

Lance: Dopey bitch. *He reached forward, touching her hand.*

    ----------

Season: I wonder where everyone is.

Tyler: *He looked at Season, nodding his head in agreement.* Riddle, do you know how long they would be in the path for?

Riddle: Unfortunately not- *He stopped in mid-sentence, looking to each side in confusion.* (What is that unusual energy signature?)

Season: (I feel a strange power heading this way-) Please be on guard. *He quickly whispered, standing in a battle-ready pose.*

    Riddle: ...

    Tyler: S-Season-?

*A ray of light shined in the sky, blasting down into Surpreon's central.*

Riddle: *His glasses shined white.* W-What is that?! *He threw away the book and stepped back, standing in a battle-ready pose.*

Tyler: (Surpreon has an impenetrable barrier above?!)

Season: *He stared at several white rotating glyphs, which spiralled up and down the light.* Who goes there?! *He stepped forward, shouting at the light.*

Riddle: *He raised his arm, causing swirls of darkness to envelope his hand.* Season, stand back!

Season: (How has something penetrated the barrier?!) *He frowned in thought, gritting his teeth, worried.*

Tyler: *He nervously looked to the markets, watching villagers finding places to hide.* (I remember when Surpreon was filled with guards-) *He watched three guards run from Season's manor towards the light.*

Season: (Most of my guards have been sent to Silver Wind Island-)

*Pulses of wind blasted around the ray of light, causing Tyler to squint his eyes.*

Riddle: *He watched Teresa and PKMY step off a fading glyph in shock.* (That light is the same as Raphael's?! Does this prove it was Raphael's home city behind that aura?!)

Season: *He stared at Teresa and PKMY, sighing in relief.* (Where is Lance and Alicia?)

PKMY: (No time, Season-) *She grunted in thought, running up to him.* W-Where's the try hard and princess?!

    Season: Princess-?

Teresa: *She strutted towards Season, flicking her hair over her shoulder.* What was that massive energy spike?

Season: (Her voice has a tone of urgency-)

    Riddle: What energy spike?

Tyler: How was the path? Was it really divine-?

PKMY: *She waved her hand across Tyler, telling him to be quiet.* Grr!-

Teresa: "We have major concerns. Where is Millard?" *She looked to each side with an emotionless face.*

PKMY: *She looked down, shaking her head in thought.* (What Locki and Celest told us, about Millard and his past-)

Season: He was with you last?

PKMY: (Don't tell me he already fought her?)

Teresa: Tcch. *She closed her eyes, concentrating on her surroundings.*

PKMY: Hurry up. *She impatiently grunted at Teresa, tapping her feet on the ground.*

Riddle: *He stepped to the side and watched Teresa in confusion.* (That woman has no traces of Neurons, so why would that crazy little girl be telling her to hurry up?)

Teresa: *She opened her eyes, facing the direction of Gasher Hills.* PKMY, go now.

PKMY: *She bent down and stepped back, readying herself to run.* "Where?"

Teresa: Outside the cave, on the path towards Gasher Hills.

PKMY: Got it. Hey, glasses, come with. *She nudged her head forward and flashstepped out of Surpreon.*

    Riddle: (Me-?)

    Season: Riddle, go.

Riddle: Sir!- *He pushed up his glasses and stepped forward, flashstepping out of Season's sight.*

    ----------

Alicia: (M-Millard-) *She had images of the black phoenix.*

Lance: *He struggled to keep his eyes open, holding Alicia's hand.* Oi, you OK?

Alicia: Let me- *She coughed, closing her eyes.* Heal you.

    Lance: N-No, you dopey cow-

*An eruption of Sand caught Alicia and Lance's attention.*

Alicia: *She pushed herself up, causing her arms to buckle.* W-What was that?!

Lance: *He tried to lift his head, moaning with failure.* (We're sitting ducks, I can't do shit-)

*PKMY and Riddle suddenly jumped out of the cloud of sand, running towards Lance.*

Lance: Dirty shit nuggets- *He spoke on his breath, falling unconscious.*

PKMY: *She ran up to Lance, looking at Alicia.* You take Lance and I'll-

Riddle: *He stopped, looking at PKMY in shock.* They're both unconscious.

PKMY: "No shit- *She grunted with impatience, picking up Alicia.* Take Lance."

    Riddle: Yes-

    PKMY: See you there.

Riddle: Yes- *He looked up, noticing a swirl of sand where PKMY stood.*

    ----------

PKMY: Phew. *She dropped to her knees, gently placing Alicia on the ground.*

Season: Alicia? *He stepped back and coughed out blood, nearly falling over.*

Tyler: S-Season?! *He quickly faced Season in confusion.*

    Season: I don't feel well.

    Teresa: Hoh-?

    Season: Tyler!

    Tyler: Y-Yes?

Season: Another feast. I want a detailed summary on what's happened in my absence.

Tyler: Of course? (That was very blunt.) *He watched purple glyphs spiral underneath Season's feet.*

Teresa: ... *She stared at Season with an emotionless face.*

Season: (Such an awkward time to fall ill-) *He placed a hand over his mouth, disappearing in a flash of purple light.*

PKMY: *She stood up, looking at the entrance of Surpreon.* Hurry up glasses-

Riddle: *He flashstepped next to PKMY, carrying Lance over his shoulder.* "He's heavy."

Teresa: To the Inn. *She casually walked past the party towards the Inn.*

Riddle: Tyler, could you please help us? *He grunted, struggling to hold Lance up.*

Tyler: S-Sorry. *He rushed towards Riddle, helping him carry Lance.*

    ----------

Pepper: *She watched researchers rush around in the research facility.* Any idea, yeah?

Researcher: I'm puzzled, where did Tyler and Riddle go? Having their second opinion would've been great.

Holland: *He leant on the wall with his arms folded, staring at a Rosterology console.* Could it have been a glitch?

Researcher: *He shook his head, scratching his head, stressed.* We need to inform Season immediately!

Freya: *She trotted into the facility, causing several researchers to gasp in shock.* (Holland?)

    Researcher: S-Scoldrant-

    Holland: Freya-?

    Freya: (Holland, there's commotion outside.)

Pepper: *She looked at Freya confused.* Freya's really patient and waits outside all the time, why does she come in now?

Freya: Grrr. *She growled and frizzed her fur, glaring at Pepper.*

Holland: Not now, Freya! Pepper, let's go.

Pepper: *She looked up to Holland, nodding her head.* (He looks serious.)

Holland: *He followed Freya with curiosity, walking outside the facility.* (What happened?)

Freya: (I was sleeping outside until I noticed everyone carrying Alicia and Lance.)

    Holland: They're back?

    Pepper: Who are back?

Holland: Oh? Never mind. *He mumbled in a deep voice, looking at Season's manor.*

    Pepper: Where are we going?

Freya: *She sniffed the air, drawing her attention to the Inn.* (They're in there.)

Pepper: Holland? *She sounded unsure, watching Freya trot away.*

    Holland: She's leading the way.

    ----------

Teresa: *She stood at the door with her arms folded, watching Tyler and Riddle place Alicia and Lance on a bed.* (Hmm?) *She leant back, looking down the hallway, intrigued.* (Such a strange power?)

Pepper: She barged into the Inn, falling to her knees.* Ouch!" *She looked down, watching her hair dangle in front of her face.*

Holland: Haha- *He covered his mouth and tried not to laugh, helping Pepper onto her feet.* I'm sorry.

    Pepper: I-It's okay, yeah?

Holland: *He looked back, staring at Freya.* (What is with you?!)

Freya: Grrr. *She growled at Pepper, frizzing her fur.*

Pepper: Did I offend Freya somehow, yeah? *She nervously whispered, looking back at Freya.*

    Holland: Freya!

Freya: *His voice startled her, causing her to lower her head.* (Sorry, for a moment her scent completely changed and it shocked me.)

Holland: Don't worry about it, Pepper. *He glanced at Freya, annoyed.* (Her scent can't change.)

    Freya: (It did.)

Pepper: *She held onto Holland's arm, flicking her long hair to her sides.* I-I'm fine.

Teresa: *She stared at Pepper.* Hoh? *She mumbled under her breath in fascination.*

Freya: Rruff. *She barked down the hallway, drawing Holland's attention to Teresa.*

    Holland: (Teresa?)

Pepper: Teresa. *She smiled, waving above her head child-like.*

Holland: (Sorry, Freya.) *He closed the door behind him, walking down the hallway.* What's going on?

Teresa: Lance is in critical condition. *She looked into the room, watching Riddle and several researchers place Rosterology items around him.*

Holland: W-What happened? *He looked shocked and power walked up to Teresa, looking into the room.*

Pepper: *She jumped up, glancing over Holland's shoulder.* What about, Alicia-?

Tyler: *He stepped away from Alicia, facing the door.* If I'm reading this correctly, her body has already started the healing process.

    Holland: That's good.

Pepper: *She sighed in relief and jumped down, stepping into the room.* C-Can I see her? *She looked at Alicia concerned.*

Tyler: Umm- *He mumbled with hesitation, looking at the researchers dressed in white.*

PKMY: *She carried a stack of white towels, which towered over her head.* Shit, I can't see- *She staggered out into the hallway, carefully closing the door with her foot.*

Holland: (Lance, Alicia-) *He mumbled in thought, looking at them, concerned.* (I can't believe they got beat up so bad, I really want to know what happened!)

PKMY: *She awkwardly walked down the hallway in a blind-like manner.* OK, I've got the towels- *She bumped into Holland, causing her to tumble back in shock.*

    Holland: Huh-?

PKMY: Oof- *She fell on her bottom, watching the stack of towels collapse on top of her.*

Holland: *He turned around, noticing PKMY on the floor.* Oh, hey.

PKMY: *She violently grabbed a towel off her head, looking up in anger.* Watch where you're going!

Holland: *He smirked and bent down.* Let me help you. *He mumbled and closely reached over PKMY, grabbing a towel on the ground behind her.*

PKMY: "You don't need to crawl all over me. *She frowned at Holland with blushing cheeks, feeling his breath on her neck.* P-Piss off."

Holland: *He smirked in PKMY's face, biting his lip.* Well-

Lance: *He shouted in pain, as his body violently shook on the bed.* Argh!- *He squealed in agony, causing several Rosterology items to glow red and emit unusual sounds.*

Riddle: *He stared at the alerting items in shock.* (Lance's Neuron signature is below critical!)

Tyler: *He glanced across the room, staring at Lance, worried.* (It doesn't sound good over there-)

Riddle: Blast it- *He grunted in frustration, shaking his head.*

    Holland: Is Lance okay?!

Riddle: *He noticed the researchers awkwardly avoid Pepper, as they tried to work on Lance.* I'm sorry, but I need to ask you all to leave for now.

Teresa: (It appears we are merely in the way.) He is right, let us leave and allow them to do their work.

Riddle: *He glanced at Teresa, nodding his head.* (Thank you.)

Pepper: *She sighed and turned around, skipping out the room like a child.* Okay, yeah?

Tyler: (I've stabilised Alicia-) Do you need help, Riddle?

Riddle: Does it look like I need the likes of your help? *He hissed with a slight condescending frown.*

    Tyler: I was just offering-

Riddle: Go take a break. *He hissed, adjusting a Rosterology device next to Lance.*

    Tyler: A break-?

    Riddle: Out of my sight?

Tyler: ... *He frowned and turned around, watching Teresa walk away.*

Teresa: (My suspicions of Millard were indeed true-) *She whispered in thought, walking down the hallway with an emotionless face.*

Tyler: T-Teresa! *He nervously walked out the room, following her outside the Inn.*

Teresa: Hmm? *She stopped and turned around, facing Tyler.*

Tyler: *He squinted his eyes, as sunlight brightly shined over Surpreon.* Umm-

Teresa: "What appears to be the problem?"

Tyler: *He nervously stuttered, avoiding eye contact.* "Just what happened when you entered the rainbow aura?"

Teresa: *She looked around, uninterested in Tyler.* (Where did PKMY go?) I will discuss our findings with the entire party present.

Tyler: *He awkwardly paused and coughed.* Oh, sure. *He looked over his shoulder, staring at the Inn.* (What happened to you back there, Lance?)

    ----------

Riddle: *He looked to the floor and glared at Holland and PKMY, rudely closing the door.* (Instead of playing on the floor they could've helped.)

Holland: Maybe another time my feisty woman-?

    PKMY: "Excuse me?"

Holland: *He smirked.* "How does this sound?" *He stared at her face to face, whispering in her ear.*

PKMY: *She stared at his face in shock.* (Why is he smirking? And why are my cheeks really hot?) *She frowned with a twitching eye.*

Holland: So? *He chuckled, poking his tongue out.*

    PKMY: You pervert!

    Holland: So that's a no-?

*A painful slapping sound echoed down the hallway, which could be heard outside the Inn.*

    ----------

PKMY: *She angrily marched out of the Inn, walking towards Teresa, Tyler and Freya.* (That disgusting man!)

Freya: Grr? *She tilted her head in curiosity, watching PKMY walk past her.*

Teresa: *She turned around and faced PKMY.* (Hoh? I have been so distracted with my thoughts on Valhalla, I had not realised she was still inside.) PKMY, I have intentions to talk to you.

PKMY: *She stopped in front of Teresa and rubbed her cheeks, slowly exhaling through her mouth.* Yeah, what?

Teresa: *She glanced at Tyler and elegantly spun around.* Please excuse us for a moment.

Tyler: *He nodded his head, watching Pepper skip out of the Inn towards him.* Sure.

PKMY: *She walked towards the markets, grabbing a piece of fruit from a wooden carriage.* So what's so urgent? *She looked at Teresa, throwing the fruit in the air.*

Teresa: "I feel it would be best to only tell Season what we learnt in Valhalla."

PKMY: *She stopped and faced Teresa.* How come?

Teresa: There were several things of importance.

PKMY: "That Celest person told us a lot of stuff, so-"

Teresa: More importantly about the other Consultant.

PKMY: Eh? You really think there's another?

Teresa: Indeed. *She nodded her head.*

PKMY: "Well, was that the big announcement?"

Teresa: (I do not understand? This was important.) Well, yes?

PKMY: Fair- *She stumbled forward, suddenly collapsing on a nearby crate.* (What-?)

Teresa: *She grabbed underneath PKMY's arm, holding her up.* PKMY?

PKMY: *She blinked several times, dropping the fruit.* What?

Teresa: *She closed her eyes, slowly inhaling.* (Her Neurons are very faint.) It appears you are in need of some rest.

PKMY: Pfft. *She arrogantly hit Teresa's arm away, struggling to stand up straight.* I'm fine-

Teresa: *She leant forward, whispering in her ear.* When was the last time you had a proper rest?

PKMY: *She sighed in fatigue, watching her fingers twitch in shock.* (I am pretty weak.)

Teresa: (PKMY, I can easily feel your Neurons, I know you are tired-)

    PKMY: (Sh-Shut up-)

Teresa: Only the foolish do not ask for help when it is needed-

    PKMY: Wateva.

Teresa: Not only is it disappointing to see you in this condition, it is almost disgraceful having you throw back my advice-

PKMY: *She grunted with a sigh, nodding her head.* Are you going to lecture me, or could you help me already?

Teresa: *She paused in confusion, gently holding PKMY's hand.* Of course- *She closed her eyes, causing swirls of wind to waft around her.*

PKMY: Gah-? *She discreetly gasped, staring at Teresa in shock.* (She's still this strong?)

Teresa: *She looked down, watching line draw themselves on the ground.* It is ready. *She watched the last line connect, causing the glyph to glow purple.*

PKMY: (You easily created another teleportation glyph.)

Teresa: (With the help of you of course.)

    PKMY: Huh?

Teresa: (I channelled your Astragons and incorporated them into the glyph.)

    PKMY: (What are you saying?)

Teresa: (Essentially, I would not be able to create such a glyph without your help.)

PKMY: Eh? *She smirked, stepping onto the glyph.* I will see you after sunset.

Teresa: Indeed. Let us see how Season takes the information. *She whispered on her breath, watching PKMY disappear in a flash of purple light.*

Holland: *He closed the Inn door, walking towards Pepper, Tyler and Freya.* (Man, that hurt. She's one of the few chicks that isn't head over heels for me.) *He rubbed a visible hand imprint on his cheek, sighing in pain.*

Teresa: *She spun around and walked out of the markets towards the cluttering party.* ...

Holland: Teresa? *He mumbled, looking around in curiosity.* Where did PKMY go?

    Teresa: She needed to rest.

Holland: Ha ha, what a little girl hey? *He chuckled, nudging Teresa on the shoulder.*

Teresa: "Do not act like that towards me as you
