For all the comic book creators I read growing up who inspired me to dream bigger dreams.
IN THE DARK, A WHISPERED voice said, Would you be quiet!?
This was Walter.
Another replied with, Shh!
John.
Walter said, You’re going to get us caught! I thought you knew better by now. How long have we been doing this?
I know! It’s not me. Talk to the others.
I can’t.
There was a click. But there, the lock’s picked.
We’re in.

John asked.

Walter interjected.

John said. Are the rest of you ready?
Yes,
Walter said.
Ready.
Jeff.
Let’s do it.
Neil.
Okay,
came a new voice. Frank.
All set,
Anne said.
I’ve got the light switch.
With that, John turned on the light and froze.
Damn.
He stood near the wall, hand still on the switch, surrounded by four men,
