All man are born equal ; but why are some more successful than the others ? What secrets , knowledge do they possess that others are not aware of ? I have written a book “The Handbook” , focusing on Mental and Moral aspect of life. The persons we most respect of , past and present, are not usually those with the deepest pocket, but those with highest standard of moral, character and personality. For one to truly live and truly love, they first have to discover themselves and their true calling. The phrase ; ‘Help your neighbour as you help yourself’ – truly indicate that you have to first help yourself before you are able to extend your hands to others. This site is aimed at provoking inner thoughts , encouraging self discovery and setting up goals for your life. Once you have reached that goal, turn around and help those around you, reached theirs too. Let’s all have a very pleasant journey...living life in abundance

THE Handbook
It would have been perfect, if a child is born with a handbook, attached to his umbilical cord - a sacred book that show us the knowhow and led us to the pathway to Wealth, Health and Happiness.
It was through reading Pushing to the Front
by Orison Swett Marden written in 1894, that it dawn upon me that I have had, unknowingly , trek upon some of these secret of success, and while I do not claim to be affluent, I am living comfortably and have retired from the corporate world at the age of 47.
It is my desire that everybody should be given the knowledge to unlock the secret to health, wealth and happiness and while we may not be born with a silver spoon sticking on our mouth, we are entitled to live life to the fullest, and to walk the enlighten path. By applying the principles written below, we may never need to live from paycheck to paycheck, ever again.
Through this book, I have done my part in bringing Orison Swett Marden’s secret to the 21st century. You will find that I quote his content on many occasions in this book - they are just worth repeating. His words are highly relevant in today’s society as it was hundred plus years ago when it was first written. It is now up to you, to apply it in your life’s journey.
Most secrets of nature have been hidden from the world because we loved to view all reasoning in a complex form. We love to complicate things. Our mind is not simple enough to understand that the principles of nature’s secret are so extremely simple that men, in their search for unusual phenomena, overlook it.
You will find the contents in ‘The Handbook’ simple to digest and easy to apply. I am not gender bias. For easy reference, when I write ‘he’ in the passage, it can mean both ‘he’ and ‘she’. The path to being fully alive is not winding. Just follow the three holistic approaches, focusing on The Mind, The Body and The Soul. May it be an enriching experience.
The Mind
1 Your Job: Focus and Excel
In the traditional Chinese culture, when a child reaches one year old, symbolic objects are placed within reach of the child. The object that he crawls towards and eventually picks up will provide clue on his future ambitions. I am not sure if this is still in practice today, as one cannot look at the object and read the secret destiny it beholds.
What I do believe is that man is born with specific magnetic needles that point to the star of its own destiny. Like a compass pointing only at the North Star, you may have spent years on an education and vocation of your parents’ choice. And it is only when you are set free of this obligation, that your magnetic needle flies back to your own star. This is only when, you will discover your own destiny. No man can be successful until he has found his own place - the job he loves to do.
Despite best efforts, some men are unable to find success in his vocation. Take the example of a fish caught on the wrong side of the waves and ended up floundering on the sand. No matter how hard it tried with all its might, the fish would never succeed in flipping itself back to the water. All it has to do is to wait (hopefully it does not take too long!) for the next wave to break higher up the beach and cover it up. The moment the fins feel the water, it darts like a flash through the waves. The fin means something now, which before as it beat the air and the sand, it was a hindrance. If you
