About this ebook
About The Beirut Conspiracy:
For newly elected US President Roswell Pierce, peace in the Middle East or unstoppable global terrorism await his next few decisions. For drunken, disbarred physician Matthew Richards, his time as a college student 35 years ago in Beirut is about to catch up with him.
The Beirut Conspiracy is a fast-paced, international thriller torn from today's headlines. A suicide bomber has just struck, narrowly missing the President. Tenuous hope for peace in the Middle East is shattered and the nation screaming for retaliation. With intense lobbying from Congress and the Defense Industry, with traitors inside his own Cabinet, does the President trust his advisors or his instincts? And whom can Matt Richards trust? His life has been turned upside down after being kidnapped, reported dead, he is now being used to locate all his AUB schoolmates for assassination.
This is a thought-provoking novel that not only informs but also forces the reader to confront difficult issues in our modern society concerning the Middle East conflict and global terrorism. Are you bold enough to choose peace over political expediency?
