Firefighter Samantha Collins vanishes while combating a warehouse fire, leaving only her helmet behind. Her husband, formerly a police officer, is in jail for drug trafficking. Her Mother contacts Rachel Scott half-owner of Omni Search a people search non-profit search company.
Rachel and her crew follow the clues to find the missing Samantha. This is the 2nd book in this series and therefore includes the back story of the lead characters. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5An exciting mystery involving a great female sleuth who is a pleasure to read about. Rachel has a heart and shows it during her investigation of a missing female firefighter during a fire at a local market. Some interesting developments that certainly thicken the plot. This story really flows. Not a heavy read as I would have anticiapted and your left with a little bit of a question mark which I assume leads you to the next book. Thumbs up for this series!
