She felt the instant flow of electricity as her skin came in contact with his lips. Her whole body tensed up like a wound spring, playing up to him. Not only did she have goose bumps, but also the cells in her five-feet-nine-inch frame gravitated towards him — much like particles in a steel bar being coaxed by a permanent magnet to align with them, becoming magnets themselves. He had that special aura and she had no control over her overwhelming urge to seize him and plant a wet kiss on him. She was drooling all over him like a tigress in heat!
When he was in the vicinity, she had all the typical symptoms of a young girl in love — weak knees, tinkling spine, high-voltage electricity cruising her whole body when least expected; and worse of all, getting dripping-wet in places she would be too embarrassed to admit, necessitating a change of underpants about midway through their ‘high-voltage’ dates!

Chapter One
Kristi’s first encounter with the opposite sex happened in the form of a blind date while attending college at the University of Houston’s main campus. The date was not truly blind, as she had already seen his photo online. The contact was made by Andrew through an internet personal ad and she was all excited about her prospects with him. He sounded witty, intelligent, and very normal for a guy his age, which was something one had to take for granted at this stage of a relationship. His homepage snapshots were really cute too, depicting a quality beyond what could be seen by a casual viewer. She didn’t think guys like that actually existed except in movies and on television. Maybe he had embellished his profile to look good. Guys were known to do that hoping to get a quick date, which wouldn’t otherwise materialize!
Kristi wasn't really expecting much more than a pleasant conversation and probably a typical boring date when Andrew had asked her to meet with him for lunch. When she had finally decided to dine with the dashing young man, she was expecting for their casual date to conclude with both of them saying their cordial goodbyes. She didn’t want to miss out on an opportunity, just because she didn’t have the nerve to go through with it. It’s always good to have the first date out of the way, more like a first job interview, so one could be better prepared for the next one around the corner!
When Kristi actually met her date in person, she felt an instant attraction towards him. It was some kind of gravitational pull — planetary style, but sensual in nature at the same time. Oh my god, he’s so cute!
thought Kristi the moment she realized that it was her man who was walking towards her. He walked with confidence — like he owned the place and all the women dining in the cafeteria turned their heads and smiled up to him as if on cue. He had that look of a football star all the girls wanted to date at the same time, inviting catfights among the throng of girls falling over each other to attract his attention!
Hi there; Kristi, right?
He took her hand, and kissed it just like in one of those romance novels she used to immerse herself in as a high school senior; she felt the instant flow of electricity as her skin came in contact with his lips. Her whole body tensed up like a wound spring, playing up to him. Not only did she have goose bumps, but all the cells in her five-feet-nine-inch frame gravitated towards him — much like particles in a steel bar being coaxed by a permanent magnet to align with them, becoming magnets themselves. Andrew had that special aura and she had to control her overwhelming urge to seize him and plant a wet kiss on him right then and there. She was drooling all over him like a tigress in heat. All she could mumble under her breath was, Oh, my god; Oh, my god; he’s making me so hot. I need an ice-cold shower right about now!
Nice to finally meet you; I have lunch all planned out for you. They have the best mouth-watering steak around here!
I’ve been eating salad all week, so steak sounds great.
Kristi had welcomed the idea of putting away some meat. At least a steak won’t fatten me up like carbohydrates do," she added.
You’re so thin Kristi; you could eat anything you wanted to, for at least a few more years before you’ve to start watching your diet!
She smiled up at him, saying, Thanks for the compliment, Andrew.
You wouldn’t mind my driving you there, would you?
No problem; just be careful. I don’t want to be in a wreck on my first date. What are people going to say?
He wanted to ask her, Your people or mine,
instead he added, Okay then, here we go,
Andrew opened the door for Kristi to get in, closed the door, came around and got in the driver’s seat and pronounced, You’re safe with me Kristi. I wouldn’t let anyone harm even a hair on you, while I’m around. So relax and enjoy the ride.
Andrew drove southeast towards the Texas Roadhouse on 3033 East Sam Houston Parkway, about fourteen miles away from the University of Houston. He had his eye on a steakhouse much closer to campus, but the items on the menu were almost twice as expensive. Being his first date and all, Andrew wasn’t going to splurge on the pretty youngster. He was going to take it slow and see how it goes from there. Why take a chance when you’re not sure!
So how are your classes going?
Andrew wanted to chit-chat as the drive would take at least twenty more minutes. The traffic was light and the sky was clear, considering how smoggy Houston gets every once in a while, owing to the factories that line the corridor.
Just the usual; study-study; that’s all we are doing.
So, you’re not having any fun at all?
Where is the time?
And the weekly labs, right?
That too, so we don’t pass out during the lectures.
Does it ever happen?
It might, if they kept going at it!
Don’t you guys do some kind of journal club on the side?
You heard about them?
She had a feeling that he was checking out on her. The Romeo checking out his prey before the big hit!
Pretty common with science classes, I hear.
We pick published articles from journals and discuss them; mainly to catch up with what’s going on in the scientific world. Some of them are really interesting. You must come one day, if you’re fascinated by what we do in our science labs. Who knows, you might even consider changing your major after attending one of those interesting journal clubs!
That’s alright; I wouldn’t understand anything anyways. Here we are,
Andrew pulled into the parking lot, came around and opened the door for Kristi. He pretended to pull the red carpet closer, so she could gently step on to it with his help. Kristi had a feeling that Andrew had a lot of practice taking girls on dates. Well, she was going to find out soon enough. Where were the flowers? He didn’t bring any. I hope he won’t spring me for the check!
How many in your party sir?
The hostess asked Andrew as he approached the buxom lady at the front of the restaurant behind an imposing lectern. The lunch crowd
