As an old geek who as worked in the computer industry for the last 35 years this idea that I am now an author is both exhilarating and frightening. I live on a small farm in Oklahoma with my wife, dog and eighteen cats. I am currently working on a new novel, Bael and Jack, which I am very excited about and at the same time, I am also working on the sequel to They Say Knowledge Is Power. The sequel is called, Revenge, A Universal Language.Though I am land bound now, my dream is to sail around the world solo, maybe with a cat or two, as I continue my writing.

It was Bernie, my agent, whom I blamed for talked me into moving up east so I could mingle with the in-crowd and get my name out there. My problem was, I could not stand to be in the same room with the in-crowd for more than ten minutes. It was also my agent, who was always pushing and getting me invites to various 'mingle and be seen' parties.

That was how I came to be in this cab heading for an address in the high rent district. He said I had to be extra nice tonight as he really had to go out of his way to get this one for me. It was an affair being thrown by E.E. Thornton and anyone who was anybody was going to be there. It made me really wonder what I was doing here.

Bernie did not know it but, besides being a writer, I was an avid reader and knew my way around a library. E.E. Thornton was one of the heavyweights, the kind of writer they would assign you in English Comp class to learn from. Yeah, I knew E.E. Thornton by the quality of her work. It had
