Foreword
In over 30 years of global traveling to over 61 countries, I have witnessed many extraordinary moments of euphoria. The power of music always inspires me. Watching people being moved physically and emotionally, from tears to elated joy, is truly a humbling experience.
I first encountered Pamela’s work at a large international percussion festival where I watched her move over 1,000 people to a higher spiritual place. She captivated them, inspired them, and united everyone through a feeling of peace, comfort, and hope. It was a very special moment in time.
We know that music can have a deeply emotional effect on us. It makes us feel everything from remorse to elation. It can give us thriving energy, make us dance unconsciously, and bless our lives with an enormous sense of peace and satisfaction. Music is a language, a force, and a tool to reach a higher level in life.
Pamela now offers you the insight to the physiological and emotional results of rhythmic entrainment. She has tapped into a study of the mind’s potential using music, rhythm, and a strong desire to learn. Learning is truly the fountain of youth. It will keep you young at heart, no matter how old you are, or how old you think you are. Pamela’s observations really work and I have seen people around her deeply moved and commit to change.
The drum is the oldest musical instrument played from the start of human development to this very day. The groove is a communication, a pleasure, a feeling, and a necessity in our human survival. To understand this and eventually further empower yourself is what Pamela has researched. To be involved with her is to step into your soul and begin a path of discovery. You will be swept away in a rhythmical, percussive literary composition, and you will feel the groove of your potential in her words.
If music is the universal language then rhythm is the voice in which to speak. Now is your chance to experience The Drummer’s Manifesto and enjoy Pamela’s thoughts, hard work, tireless efforts, and wisdom as you become a part of her journey. I ask you to feel every word and thoroughly absorb what she is saying. Open your mind and heart together and be prepared to learn, grow, and become a more productive
