    It had been one year since the Bradley family first spoke to one another about the magic ornaments hanging from their Christmas tree. Over the months, Katelyn and Harris Bradley impressed upon their children to keep the secret of the tree inside their home. They explained that if they let the secret out, they might lose some of the wondrous magic the family looked forward to experiencing for many Christmases to come. Tim and Janis respected their parent’s wishes, and as the months passed, they spoke of it less and less. The silence was broken as the clock struck midnight on as Christmas Eve became Christmas Day.

    Janis, oh, Janis, please wake up! Tiny Teddy’s voice was panicked. He climbed up the post of Janis’ bed and lifted her hair away from her ear. Please wake up. Teddy crawled on to her chest and began to hop up and down. Janis, we need your help!
