Class 11 in Titanic Trouble

About this ebook
In the year 2040 there was a global disaster. As predicted by the scientists, the Great Floods arrived, destroying half of both the human and animal kingdoms. As a result, both kingdoms realised they had to work together to save the planet and ensure we live peacefully alongside each other. The King of the Animals, the Lion Caesar, had an idea. He granted an elite class of New Zealand children some special powers borrowed from animals all over the world. It was hoped that with these powers they could protect us all from further environmental disasters.
Despite the efforts of teacher Mr Thorn trying to keep the class's attention during a geography field trip, the ever alert Elliot Eagle spots a boat in trouble. It soon dawns upon Class 11 though that this is not just any ordinary boat but a huge tanker carrying tonnes of oil.
This story covers their daring missions to try and stop the oil tanker as it drifts out of control towards the jagged rocks. Will their special powers be enough to stop the disaster?

Being brought up with animals, they had a profound affect on this author. Appreciating animals is proven to increase our own ability to show more empathy to one another. Class 11 aims to generate empathy earlier with our children, in order to create a kinder world. Over time travelling the planet this quote sums up the inspiration behind Class 11. "Animals teach us the secret of survival: never take more than you give. They are simpler than us and yet the spiritual goals we strive for come as naturally to them as breathing, such as living in the moment, being in touch with nature and loving unconditionally as our pets do, the animals who choose to share their lives with us. Animals have true beauty. They are in touch with the necessity of their appearance and not taken up with vanity. They eat what they need to eat, and delight in their bodies regardless of how they look; therefore, they are always perfect. They teach us the joy of Being. Their generosity and patience is beyond our willful measure. So in this moment, let us pay homage to the spiritual beauty of animals and to their playfulness and joy." -Aloha International

This story follows one of their most daring missions…
Chapter One
Diana had an unpleasant image in her head. Although this image scared her, she found herself running straight towards it. In fact, she was running as fast as she possibly could.
Come on, Diana. Keep up or you’ll get us all into trouble,
yelled Elliot who was at the front of the pack.
I’m trying Elliot… sorry… It’s just too early to be running… I’m still half asleep,
gasped Diana.
Just two more blocks to go,
Diana said to herself as she tried to keep her tired legs moving. Soon she would see what was making them all run so fast.
