About this ebook

Summer break is nearly here and Greta can’t wait to spend a whole month on the farm with Granny and Grandpa.
In the weeks before school ends, Greta spends time getting ready for her long awaited adventure. One afternoon Greta’s dad, a sweet, somewhat mischievous individual, is teasing her mom . . . but to Greta it feels very real. She doesn’t like it at all and wonders how Momma will handle it. “Just getting Momma’s goat” is a saying that really bothers Greta.
A hard-working farmer and God fearing man, Grandpa loves his family and wants to make their dreams come true but when he mentions “getting Granny’s goat!” Greta worries her dream could quickly become a nightmare!
Greta learns lessons in loving others who don’t seemingly act nice, not to judge people’s intentions too quickly, along with gratitude and responsibility. Greta’s greatest life lesson involves trust and the beginning of a dream fulfilled.

Kathleen J Kidder

Kathleen J Kidder, is the author of six hand bound children's books. Her love for writing began as a child when she wrote her first short story for a third grade assignment. Kathleen was an avid reader and credits her beloved grandmother, Sarah Landis, with sparking her curiosity about what lies between the pages of a book. Inspired by authors like Gertrude Chandler Warner (Box Car Children) and Carolyn Keene (Nancy Drew Mysteries), Kathleen developed an imagination that would lead to the creativity she displayed throughout her lifetime. Her talent is shared with us today in her writing, crafting and graphic design. Kathleen's early writing can be found on her blog entitled "Living on the Potter's Wheel - Brokenness to Breakthrough ". In 1995 "It Always Ends the Same" written under the pen name Kat Ryan, received and Editor's Choice Award from the National Library of Poetry and was published in "Seasons to Come". Kathleen, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and the oldest of six children, now lives with her husband in the Nashville, Tennessee area near five of their nine grandchildren. Her greatest desire is to inspire families to love one another to love God, and believe that He sent his Son pay the debt we can never pay.
