    The Book Thief deals with the power of words. Through the sheer power of words, Adolf Hitler and his Nazi Party gained power in Germany. They delivered violent speeches, and spread propaganda.

    Through his seminal book titled Mein Kampf, Adolf Hitler denounced the Jews, the Communists, and the influence of the enemy countries like France.

    Hitler included nationalism, Aryan racial superiority in his violent speeches. He promised that he would remake Germany into a world power that would dominate Europe for the advantage of the Germans. It was the power of words which enabled Hitler to rise to the unshakable power in Germany.

    During the Great Depression, the German economy was totally shattered, after the defeat in the World War II. Hitler delivered a highly persuasive but dangerous message.

    Having obtained the power of the country, Hitler started very rapid militarization. He began a very systematic extermination of those social undesirable, communists, homosexuals, the disabled, gypsies, Poles, Soviets, and all those people who were considered
