Introduction:
The Roman Pantheon of major Gods and Goddesses are roughly equated to the Ancient Greek deities’ e.g. Zeus and Jupiter share the same attribute of being the King of the Gods. However the Romans preferred their gods to perform acts of heroism as opposed to the Greek deities debauched antics. They also felt their world dominance was as a direct result of their strict observance of religious practices.
The Major 12 Roman Gods and Goddesses:
Apollo; a son of Jupiter he was worshipped as a god of healing, poetry, music, oracles and prophecy. He was also worshipped by Roman farmers as a protector of their animals. He
