I was a bundle of nerves as I sat in the waiting room. It was late in the day and I was the last one.

Not by accident of course, but by design. At last, Dr Keller’s impossibly handsome head poked round the waiting room door.

‘Miss Charlotte Breed?’

‘Yes.’

I got shakily to my feet and followed him to his surgery, watching his tight arse flexing beneath his suit trousers.

He gestured for me to sit on the plastic chair in front of his desk. He sat down too, the massive oak desk between us.

He began tapping away on his computer, probably pulling up my spotless health file. I glanced surreptitiously at his lean, handsome profile, taking in the olive complexion and eyes so dark they were almost black, just like his hair. The word smouldering sprang to mind. I thought he was the perfect contrast to my pale blondeness. He was one of those guys that seemed totally ageless, but if I had to pin an age on him I would have plumped for thirty, a good ten years older than myself. He had the type of looks that snatched your breath and stopped your heart.

‘What seems to be the problem Miss Breed?’

Even his voice was a turn on. His pronunciation was impeccable, underpinned by the slightest trace of an eastern European accent, I was guessing German.
