    Blushing is involuntary

    So says Webster's Dictionary

    It's triggered by our modesty,

    Embarrassment, or shame you see

    I can attest without a doubt

    That is what blushing's all about

    No matter how darn hard you try

    The only way to stop is die.

    I think it was Mark Twain who said; Humans are the only animal that blushes…or needs to.

    In this human, the 'blushing gene', being recessive, was not passed down to my sons and daughters. They seem to think that blushing
