    ~Dedication~

I want to dedicate this book to my family who are always supportive. A special thanks to my father Jan, who told me to Just do Lisa things; my husband Ray, who is always pushing me along in my writing career; and my sister Betty, who helped me flesh out this story and became my sounding board during writing.

    Chapter One

    Sophie! Sophie!

    I heard a loud bang.

Sorry. There must have been a crosswind. She descended the staircase in an ever graceful motion.

I guess some habits die hard. Margaret smiled, took her hand, and dragged her into the kitchen. So, have you gotten in touch with anyone yet to let them know you were back in town?

Mom, I only got here thirty minutes ago. I need time to breathe. Sophie thought about her dorm and the hustle and bustle of college life. There is always something happening around me, but at least there is peace. The school chaos rarely
