    Shit. Doorbell. That's probably Billie. Sandy jumped and bolted blindly toward her bedroom door. Crap. I didn't mean to fall asleep.

    She stumbled down the stairs trying to keep her balance as she fumbled to put on her heels. Half way down she nearly fell head first and had to stop and compose herself.

    Sandy made her way down the rest of the stairs without incident. She stopped briefly at the full length mirror just beyond the landing and gave herself a cursory glance.

    I guess Billie could be right, she thought. The image in the mirror reflected back her 5 foot 4 inch frame. Since the separation from Carl it had been three times a week to the gym and yoga on Saturday morning. She was trim and tight and still perky in all the right places and her stunning red hair and brilliant emerald eyes always turned heads.
