About this ebook

Scripted Love takes place in alternate timeline when Malaysia is on the brink of revolution. The story opens with a bombing tragedy in 2013 related to a religious anti-gay movement. Next chapters tell about the events leading to the bombing. In 2012, the newly elected prime minister, Yusuf Azahari, under the encouragement from his movie director friend (Faisal Ramlee), abolishes all the anti-gay bills. Needless to mention, many Malaysian people rise up and protest the abolishment. The opposition leaders accuse Yusuf of running gay agenda to corrupt Malaysian moral standard. At the same time, the Prime Minister also receives praises from western countries for bringing Malaysia to a better direction.

One of the abolished bills is the GLBT Movie Bill. With that, gay characters in Malaysia movies are no longer required by law to die or to repent. Faisal takes the opportunity to make the perfect gay movie. Faisal recruits a straight actor named Miza Kamal to play the role as Amir, a gay-in-denial. Abel Hamid, a newcomer in acting world - and also gay man - is cast to be Miza's on-screen love interest. However, Miza's heterosexuality prevents him from getting in touch with his gay side. Under the threat that he will be fired, Miza seeks acting guidance from Abel.

The acting lesson takes a surprising turn when Miza realizes that he really has a gay side. Before long, he finds himself in love with Abel, something which Miza previously thought was impossible. However, more and more religious Malaysians condemn homosexuality. Things go out of control when a religious fanatic decides to take matters into his own hand, by blowing up those who he accuses as the culprit of so-called gay epidemic. Can Miza and Abel's love survive? Can their love triumph over religion-fueled hatred?

    ADULT READING MATERIAL

This book contains some elements that some readers may find objectionable: explicit gay sex, religious homophobia, and disturbing quotes from real-life Malaysian politicians.

    WHAT THE GUYS SAY:

Dan: Hey, I just visited your site...all I can say is your one very talented man to have created a whole world of stories and literature the way you have. I'm just shocked that this hasn’t caught on mainstream and made a very rich man of you. The site is very sleek and extremely professional looking and looks as impressive as anything I've seen online from the major gay film studios. I think it's just a matter of having that one right person see this and take it to the next level. Who that person is...I don't know, if I did I'd certainly show them this site. I'll talk this up to my friends and get some of them to check it out. In the mean time...good luck and keep up the hard work. It WILL pay off.

EddieMilo: Thanks for all the work you are doing for us guys out here and I really appreciate your extreme talent. I really love your work!

Dave: why don’t you sell your book man add me your 2 fucken cool

Raaf: You are truly gifted; I like the way you begin each story getting deep into the story, then going back to the beginning. You do have talent; you know how to fill paragraphs like I would not be able to do. And each paragraph is filled with good stuff, not just word fillers.

Time155: I just read your story. VERY HOT! You have a lot of talent for sexual fantasy and storytelling. Great job

    WHAT THE LADIES SAY:

Butterfly: I would just like to say, that you're a simply amazing writer. it so happens I’m a straight female who loves reading/watching guys getting each other off...It's so hard to find a decent site...I'm glad I found your site ^_^ keep the stories cumming ;) I know I surely will be!

Koneko Chan: I like the site very much it is tastefully done with all the bishie models not like some other erotica site. I love the stories too, you write to well. The only thing is that some of the story could do with a sequel. Hope you will consider writing sequel for some of your stories, I am sure there are other fan who will looking forward to them. Please keep up the great writing. Looking forward to your new stories.

    CHAPTER 1

    2013, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)

And the winner for the best actor is…

Tension rose among the anxious audience members, especially those who were nominated.

Miza Kamal, sitting next to Abel Hamid, squeezed his lover's hand tight. He had attended numerous award nights before, yet still he was nervous. FFM - Malaysian Film Festival - was the most prestigious movie award in Malaysia. That's why Miza really wanted to bring home the trophy.

On the stage, the intensity of the lighting slowly decreased. A spotlight shone from above, centering on a female presenter. She was wearing an elegant purple gown. A quiet drum roll wafted through the air, adding to the tension. Suddenly, the drumming stopped.

The winner is… Miza Kamal! The presenter finally announced!

Oh my God! I can't believe it. I won! Miza said excitedly, amid the fanfare.

Miza Kamal, come on the stage, the presenter invited.

Come with me, Abel. Miza could hardly contain his overflowing excitement. With that, Miza grasped one of Abel's arms and dragged him up onto his feet.

Abel had no choice but to follow Miza. As a good boyfriend, it was his solemn duty to always support Miza. While straightening his tuxedo, he tailed along through the narrow aisle.

As they passed rows of seat, several people were whispering to one another. I heard they're real homos. I wonder who fucks who?

Not wanting to ruin Miza's joyous occasion, Abel pretended he didn't hear the stupid comment. The journey to the stage felt like forever, all eyes on them.

Excitedly, Miza bounded up the steps and onto the stage.

The award for best actor will be presented by Malaysian Prime Minister - Mr. Yusuf Azahari, the presenter announced again.

As if following strict protocol, the audience clapped their hands again.

From across the stage, Yusuf made his appearance. Behind him, a man followed, with a golden trophy clasped in his hand.

At first, Miza took no notice of the male assistant who trailed behind the Prime Minister. However, as the man approached, Miza couldn't help noticing how familiar his face was. Then suddenly, it dawned on him.

Oh my God, it's him, Miza whispered to Abel, his face showing blatant horror.

His cover had been blown; the man in question quickly dropped the trophy and seized the prime minister from behind.

Responding to the sudden hostility, squads of police immediately rushed towards the stage from several directions.

The audience began to panic after they realized the dramatic hostage wasn't a play.

With one hand, while holding Yusuf hostage, the man reached deep into his pocket and pulled out a detonator. In his mind, he heard the heaven calling at him. Raising his arm, he prepared himself to meet his maker.

Death to all homos! the man shouted. Spurred by adrenaline, he brought his thumb down and clicked the detonator with absolute determination.

No! Miza screamed at the top of his lungs…

    *****

    One year ago…

What did you say? You're going to film a gay movie? Are you out of your mind?

A middle-aged Malay man, dressed in a plain white shirt, nearly jumped off his chair. The burning cigarette in his hand dropped to the floor of his private office. Losing his will to resume smoking, he stepped on the cigarette and squashed it instantly with the tip of his shoe.

The smell of the burning cigarette lingered in the air for a while before dissipating completely.

Yes, that's right, Yusuf. A gay movie. I'll name it 'Scripted Love'.

Faisal, you're looking for trouble! Yusuf Azahari abruptly stood up, his callused fist on the office desk.

The desk lamp nearly toppled down the second Yusuf's fist connected to the desk.

For a moment, they fell quiet. Both men held their breaths, pondering over the sensitive topic. Each had different thought about gays. To avoid conflict, one of them would have to give up his view.
