About this ebook

Rosalind lost her lover in the great clan wars over 300 years ago. Since then, she had been in mourning, existing only to take blood and to walk among her clan as little more than a shadow of what she was. One evening, she stumbles upon what she believes is a dying human man whose helplessness arouses both her curiosity and her hunger. In the heat of the moment, she is torn between feasting on his body and satisfying her sudden need to know what sort of creature he truly was. As she lunges in to take his life or to reveal his illusion, suddenly a third and most unexpected choice rises up in the darkness to catch her unawares: desire.

I started writing romance fiction since I was 16 years old. I'm now a published writer thanks to the wonderful world of ebooks.I live in Canada and I love the winter months. As you can see, I wrote several books related to the winter holidays.I'm not represented by an agent and I'm a proud indie. I have learned how to create websites and edit images, design book covers, etc. All my books and what you see on this website I have created myself.I'm currently a certified accountant but my dream is to be a full-time independent writer of hot erotic romance books.

    Chapter One

Rosalind was dreaming. There was no other explanation for her happiness.

In the dream, she rode a horse. A dusky gray with a wild mane that flew in the cool night wind. She rode the horse bareback through the snow, galloping like a mad thing, snow and dirt flying up under the horse’s hooves. Rosalind’s cool breath misted the even cooler air as she raced over the snow-covered field. The heavens were dark with snow clouds. Sharp white flakes of snow fluttered down to drown the landscape in more whiteness.

But Rosalind did not feel the cold. The vampire kind rarely did. Her hair flew around her shoulders, the deep red mane a wild mantle she normally kept braided to her knees was now a loose and fiery banner flaring out behind her as she rode her horse through the white field.
