Alexis lay trembling as he came closer, his gaze darting over her naked body as though he’d never seen one before. Her body, as new to her as it was to him, sent waves of signals to her mind as she felt herself heat up with each step he took.

Alexis had recently been Alex but a chance encounter with a group of aliens had changed her body and her mind so thoroughly that she would never be mistaken for a man again. The change had involved unutterable pleasure once she’d submitted, and ever since then she’d felt a knot of desire in the back of her mind. It had grown, swelling daily until she was panting with need, but none of the men she’d met during that time felt quite right.

Finally she’d met Rory and had known right away that he was the one. He’d bought her a drink at one of the local watering holes, nervous and unable to look her in the eye for more than a heartbeat at a time.
