DISCLAIMER: This is not a guide on how to win any lottery. It is strictly for the actual winners of a lottery. (Or those seriously considering a life of playing the lottery as their retirement plan) If you bought this book thinking it would tell you how to win the lottery, then my advice to you: DO NOT play.

If you are a lottery winner, then the price for this book should be (In my humble opinion) money well-spent

To all Lottery Winners:

So, you went and won the Lottery.

Congratulations. You have just experienced something the rest of the huddled masses can only dream about.

My condolences as well.

Your life is about to change in ways you may have never anticipated. Yes, you could be set for the rest of your life financially, but what will that life be? I hope it turns out as you dream, but I doubt it will.

Now, this money isn’t really yours yet. You sacrificed a few dollars to buy a ticket, picked the numbers based upon some system you conceived of, and just happened to match all numbers in the drawing. No skill, education, or system you thought you created gained you the advantage over the millions of other quietly desperate people. They also plunked down a dollar or more, hoping to hit it big and solve all of their problems. You were simply the person that happened to match all of the numbers and overcome the very long odds against becoming what you now are. You didn’t earn this windfall.

And therein is the problem: Money that isn’t earned is often squandered because the person responsible had no sense of ownership over the funds, and so, when they reached the end of the money, they justified their incompetence as Easy come; Easy go!

You winning the lottery was just Random Chance. No foresight, no look into the future, just plain old-fashioned luck. No one else (except maybe an ex-spouse; dreaming of larger alimony checks) is cheering for you. You are the most-hated, most-envied, person on the planet; at least until they play the lottery again and someone else becomes the object of their envy.
