About this ebook
No one saw it coming, not the financiers, not the politicians, not the religionists and not even the scientists. It was beyond any financial analysis, beyond any political proclamations, beyond any religious prophesies and way beyond any science fiction tales of horror; a horrific destruction of the multitudes! Without precursor or harbinger, it struck in the dead of night. As the Earth turned on its axis, it attacked swiftly at first only on the darkened side of the planet during a moonless night. The roaring thunder-like excruciating day-of-reckoning noise was deafening. The ground shook as if for an eternity and the roar kept pace with it. The vibrations were stomach wrenching and fearsome. Not throughout any of the planet’s history was ever such catastrophic devastation known. Past meteorites, storms, floods, quakes, plagues and wars combined would amount only to a fraction of what now had taken place.

SYNPOSIS
Professor Tevetah san Royce, a renowned scientist address an international convention of scientists at the Hague giving severe warnings of drastic, regressive global changes if we do not take positive actions as soon as possible.
Within a few hours, it IS too late and the Earth did instantly begin to shake and tilt on its axis. Devastation beyond any day-of-reckoning occurred. Billions were dead and a sad new era began.
One-hundred years later civilization slowly had progressed to a point of a small but wonderful, almost paradise-like way of life. There was great celebration of the new year 100 A.T.D.U. (after the day of Unexpectation). Then Prof. Royce awakens from his sleep to find what he never expected!

THE PROLOGUE
Professor Tevetah san Royce, a renowned scientist of global warming and earth changes, was the son of astute professional parents. His mother, a native of Ceylon (now Sri Lanka), taught high school in Colombo where his father, an English physician, met her when he was stationed there with the British Army. Ever since early childhood Professor Royce learned from his parents to appreciate the abundant blessings which this planet constantly bestows upon its inhabitants. He was taught to respect nature and all its benefits and never to waste or take earth’s gifts for granted. His love for nature eventually led him to seriously study the warning signs of reaping what we did not sow. He was a graduate of Cambridge, England and fluent in Sinhalese, Tamil, and English. A quiet man by nature, but a man with a sincere inner quest to help prevent the countless, needless atrocities, which because of greed, politics, ignorance and national boundaries are occurring at a frightening, unsafe speed throughout the planet.
As the years passed he was forever conscious of the dreadful possibilities which humanity was creating for itself and all life upon the planet either through ignorance or greed. He was forever trying to awaken his students to this dire fact. Although many of his colleague scientists agreed with him, none truly felt that they could personally make the progressive changes that were needed. Therefore, they chose him to be their voice and representative on a scholastic level. He was the main guest speaker earlier in the day at The Hague, Netherlands at one of the world’s most important meetings with some of the greatest, concerned minds ever. All present shared their sincere concerns with Professor Royce and were deeply hoping to alert the world news media of the horrific dangers which lay ahead if all the nations did not immediately bring to a screeching halt the irresponsible actions of the past and the present. He spoke earnestly saying:
Esteemed heads of state, noted educators, my colleague scientists, fellow citizens of this wonderful planet and all children everywhere. We are dangerously close to vast global destruction, and must learn to help save our planet one generation at a time. But, we may be that last generation to have the ability to do so! We have gone from primitive existence upon earth to highly advanced, modern, scientific technology in a briefly short span of years according to creative time. And, if we do not use it progressively we can easily reverse the situation back to a primitive existence in the twinkling of an eye.
Our only hope for a progressive, safe or any kind of future existence upon earth lies in our hands today. Severe earth changes of catastrophic proportions can occur in our immediate future if we do not curb and stop our reckless use of burning fossil and oil fuels which are constantly trapping more polluted heat and gasses from cars in the atmosphere, causing the increased warming greenhouse effect. This in turn will push the gulf stream further south lowering the temperature of northern Europe.
It is inconceivable for major governments to continue to support their nations by hidden taxes on oil and motor fuel. There is absolutely no need to have automobiles run on petroleum products. We have the ability to use solar power, but for the financial greed of those who personally profit from this industry, this is not the case. Governments must create stricter pollution laws. The aerosol sprays are also of great danger to our ozone layer. Leaks from the many unstable nuclear reactor plants, nuclear powered submarines and nuclear stockpiles of weaponry are equally devastating threats to the future life of the planet. Misuse can easily cause physical earth changes beyond our wildest dreams at a speed faster than any of us would wish to experience. Thousands of acres of trees are being cut down daily denuding the landscape and causing great loss in the production of cleaning the air we breathe. Earth is a living, evolving creation which acts according to its nature and also reacts when we misuse and abuse earth’s natural laws.
If the planet were to tilt on its axis and shift even minutely, the tectonic plates upon which life exists, this outer skin of the earth will also shift and break up on a planetary scale vastly annihilating life as it is presently known. And this, my fellow human beings, includes all of us and all our children.
"Are we so blind, so deaf, so ignorant, and so greedy that we are willing to let our differences divide us to the point of extinction? Can’t our politics, our nationalities, our religions remain diversified yet also come together in a common unity of good for all of us to prevent this foreboding, deadening future? We are no
