Simon Marlow has been a prominent figure in the Haskell community formany years. Simple I went through the whole process and installed both solar and geothermal and now I have a home and office with no power costs but better still I have a tax-free income because I generate green energy credits through solar and reduce my energy needs using geothermal and get paid for the reduction also! I am planning to start a solar-geothermal business and have been reading a lot of books and journals on these topics. This book was possibly the best I have read so far. It explains the basics, what and how to calculate, what to watch out for and the potential areas one can earn from. I am from India and we do not yet have a legal structure in place, so this book has given me a good idea of how we could lobby for new regulations to be framed. The efficiency / ROI numbers may have changed in the 10 years since this book was written - but overall Simon has laid out a great set of tools to empower those looking to use solar / geothermal energy. Highly recommended!
