My most important love is story telling of fictional tales, far away places, memorable characters, great beginnings and surprise endings. I can author work across many genres comfortably. If I can connect with you my reader, then I did my job and we are hopefully, both happy.II don't try to author woke, politically correct content, but rather entertainment value work. I like to think of my stories as having a 'Movie in your mind' and if I connect with a reader that way, I have done my job. From my "Sheriff Wyler Scott" franchise to the "CalHouse" Technological terror tales of the 21st century, to a diabolical Veep at Weasle Mortgage and Loa in "$$$Amount Due$$$" to a dying man kidnapped in place of a woman by grey aliens on a disc in "Captura" ... I like my readers to be able to visit all types of places. Even in time, take "Skyway Arizona" where a 747 makes an emergency landing in the year 1885. Or a future detective "Turbadia" a detective from hell for the bad guys who seems unstoppable, to a religious scifi confrontation in the future "Thunder Dead" God versus the Devil and grey alien. It is that imagination, the travels with the characters, the places they have been, a hopeless situation turned around, this is what is important, an escape from the real world for several hours to go on those adventures and meet new characters. That is my world and I hope it 'Rocks your mind' for several hours. Humbly yours, American Author, Poet, Filmwriter and Songwriter, "Mark Paul" Sebar.

Chapter 01
The large translucent shield dome was covering the island when suddenly it blew. The dome momentarily contained the explosion as a blinding fireball mixed with various colors, highlighted the atomic explosion. Then it collapsed into a giant wave of brilliance in all directions, outward across the sea at over a thousand miles per hour. Everything under that got fried and radiated as well. It was the end of a CalHouse (California Housed) Island known as Leonis Manor, this being one of the most feared properties ever in this year of 2198.
The destructive actions set by the one they called Miguel Consuelo did what it had been billed to do. The destruction was now complete and with it, the evil gone as well. The base for the vast evil entity known as the Blue Demon had been destroyed when Miguel set the island’s main reactor to overload.
A little while later after the ocean swells had calmed, the floating body of a giant bird was all that remained intact of the once dreaded property. However, something was beginning to occur under it. A sudden swirling in the ocean water sank below the bird and then disappeared.
A week later when the radiation levels had dissipated out to sea, a number of hovering black and round security drones scoured the sea top for any remnants of the island. There was nothing to be found, nothing but the mighty Pacific Ocean as it had once been. The island and all that it was, no longer occupied this space.
One of the drones scanned the water’s surface and as it did so, the floating remains of the dead prehistoric bird were located. Some additional debris surrounded it and the other drones quickly flew to the scene.
Returning with a piece of evidence from the former CalHouse project,
the securing drone radioed in.
Acknowledged. Bring all evidence to Sacramento headquarters,
the Sacramento Core Computer replied.
Roger that. I will return shortly.
Have all other units continue additional searches for remaining debris…Extra submersibles will be on sight shortly.
Acknowledged...Return program commensurate,
the securing drone replied.
They secured the dead bird with mechanical arms, and then lifted to the air; on their way to the California Country’s central computer system in Sacramento California.
The Coroner’s lab in Sacramento was a pyramid shaped structure. It was rather narrow at the base and the peak was quite tall. About half way up, was a platform ring for landing vehicles, drones and droids and this is where the securing drones all flew too. The day was bright and beautiful, a bit warm, all things being considered, that the temperature for the area was allowed to be this hot. They glided along the outer platform ring and then flew with the evidence through an open doorway, down a long hallway, and then into an open room with all kinds of equipment for various uses.
A large metallic table was in the room’s center and the drones deposited the big bird’s remains there, along with additional debris. Then they turned and flew out of the room toward their next assignments. The metallic table poured onto a conveyor belt that slowly moved the carcass along the path to yet another large laboratory, and as it did so, it slightly tore a piece of the wing and blue blood began oozing along the conveyor belt. The blue liquid flowed on its own, up the conveyor belt against gravity and a warning alarm sounded. In moments, a security drone entered through the opening doors and the blue liquid in a split second, streamed at the droid hitting it hard as electrical bolts shorted all over it.
Nighttime over the beautiful San Fernando Valley in 2198 and the sky traffic is moving in all directions. There are lights all over the ground and the many tall thousand foot towers are all lit up like giant mushrooms standing sentinel. It is a starlit sky and the weather net has cleared the evening, a twinkling reminder of peace as we fly towards a sky needle. The tower in Chatsworth California Country is magnificent and the air is warm and still. It is the sound of electromagnetic jet engines and two large, round outlines, appear ominous in their connotative status.
Miguel Consuelo and Keri Lee were both asleep, each on a cushion of air suspended above the floor. He turned in his sleep while in the corner, a weary pet mountain lion named Dandi rested on her side, her tail moving slightly as she snored. In essence, they were all sound asleep snoring and each seemed so very content to have found their rest. Suddenly, Dandi sat up and her ears pricked up as well. She sensed something, perhaps an animal instinct that something was going to happen. Miguel snored, coughed then turned in his sleep again while Keri continued inside her dream.
Outside on the needle platform, two large black round security drones hovered near a panel. One of them inserted a connector to the panel and moments later a code was input. The code screen appeared in a holographic mode and the names of the residents began to appear from the needle’s manifest computer system. Then it located the name it wanted, with the match through the central system and the needle informed of the whereabouts of their suspect. The drone withdrew its attachment connector and both began ascending up over the very top of the needle. The 1,000 foot tall structure they easily passed over and then down to the 800 foot level passing the parked Jetdagger 880 in the process until they arrived at the right sky elevation and standing deck.
Chapter 02
Above the deck were the doors to Miguel’s loft. Both drones hovered and then the lead cyber security drone extended the connector to the door’s AIO All In One
socket, turned it, input the proper policing codes and the doors swooshed open. Dandi was there to greet them, stood up, growled aloud; which woke up the others and the drones blew past her, as she took a swipe at one of them with her claw and fangs.
Miguel slid off the air cushion in his pajamas, while the trailing drone sent a backwards zap at Dandi, causing the cougar to retreat into the other room. Miguel stepped out into the living room What the hell’s going on here?
Keri quickly approached in a nightgown. Hey, wait a second…
Miguel Consuelo?
the first security drone called aloud.
Who wants to know?
he replied and the situation was becoming more tense by the moment.
We are searching for Miguel Consuelo,
the second drone added.
Well, I’m not him, I’m his twin brother,
he replied in a wisecracking tone. The secondary drone suddenly flicked on what looked like a flashlight beam and it scanned Miguel’s body from top to bottom before shutting off and the moments ticked by.
Direct DNA pattern match complete…This is the one we are after,
the drone announced and in a rather gleeful manner.
Keri stepped in front of Miguel, her arms both crossed. She was fuming as one of the drones hovered slowly around her towards Miguel. Wait a second…what has he done? What did he do?
Miguel Consuelo is under arrest for multiple counts of murder to cyber units,
the secondary drone replied.
It was a blank moment upon his face as the reality of the statement was just starting to sink in. Where?
he threw his arms up.
CalHouse,
the first drone replied.
They were just stupid computers,
Miguel responded and it was apparent that he had no remorse for the murders.
Your hostile attitude towards cyber units has been noted on public record,
the second drone replied.
They both lined up on each side of him and attached bluish tractor beams on his right and left arms. He kicked and struggled and they moved a bit further away while maintaining the tractor beams, now out of range from his physical body. Where are you taking me…what's going on?
You can’t do this,
Keri bonked one of the cybers.
The drone’s top half swung around. Noted on your credit deductions, assaulting a police officer.
What, what?
she stomped her foot in anger as they lifted Miguel into the air, hovering a moment. What police officer?
and they both flew out the open doors, leaving Keri alone, in which case she ran, jumped and grabbed onto Miguel’s dangling foot, holding on for dear life.
With her grip slipping, Miguel closed his eyes a moment and back at the platform the Jetdagger’s engines powered up. Hang on honey,
he told her, and she tried to hold onto him as best she could, though her grip was weakening.
What do you think I’m trying to do,
she screamed back at him. I can’t hold on much longer.
Drones, please, set her down safely on the ground,
Miguel pleaded as the Jetdagger took to the air, its canopy breeched open in the night sky.
She showed no respect for cybers,
the first drone replied callously.
Let her fall. Human's are no longer of consequence to cybers,
the second drone added.
The last of her grip was slipping and she glanced up at him. I love you.
Then she lost it and started falling over two thousand feet towards the ground while Miguel yelled in a blood curdling tone. Noooooo!
The ground was coming up fast and as it did, the Jetdagger dropped and maneuvered under her with precision as she plopped into the passenger’s seat. The canopy closed.
The vehicle made a sharp-banked turn towards the distant sky needle they had come from. Auto fall sensing disengaged…Are you okay Misses Consuelo?
Yes, thank you very much. Those drones, can we go after them?
she asked in a moment of renewed hope.
I'm sorry Misses Consuelo, but I have been down linked instructions that forbid my programming to activate a pursuit mode.
The words said it all.
She just burst out in
