About this ebook

Pickle Man is the most popular super-hero of all time. He’s on T-shirts, in movies, and on TV, and older collectibles with Pickle Man are worth serious moo-lah. But when mysterious drawings of Pickle Man start showing up, signed by the reclusive artist, Charlie Means, it's up to magician Mac King to shed some iced tea...er, light on the subject. Meanwhilek the Contessa and Zenario plan to sell nanobyte sliced-in-the-peel bananas, but a glittering mineral from a forgotten island might rock their plans and lead them straight to Charlie Means himself. It's three times the magic, three times the mystery and three times the fun as Harry, Kelly, Lewis and Mac take on another adventure while teaching you some easy to learn magic tricks.

Chapter One: The Case of the Purloined Pickle Man

    Okay, so I was mad.

Clay Moorhead! I hollered. I accuse you of burglary in the first-most degree!

Really, I was more than mad, and to be honest, I wasn’t thinking much about my friend, Mac King, the world-famous magician who lives next door to Clay. I was way too busy being M.A.D.

Turns out my shout interrupted Mac’s breakfast. But like I said, I wasn’t thinking about that.

C’mon out and fight like a man! I shouted. Rat! Rat! Rat!

Clay’s house stayed still in the early morning sunshine. For just a minute, I wondered if anyone was home. But I never second-guessed the accusation. I knew Clay had stolen one of my most valuable comic books.

The Adventures of Pickle Man #22 was worth serious loot, something Clay knew all too well. Even if he was a rock-brained moron.

Pickle Man is the most popular superhero of all time. He’s on T-shirts, in movies, and on TV, and older collectibles with Pickle Man are worth serious moolah.

I know you stole my comic book! I yelled. You cheating, no-good, stinky-sock-wearing goat!

With that, Clay came bustin’ out of his house like a sack of cats. You lookin’ for me? he snapped. Whatcha want, Hairball? What’s with all the noise?

Clay outweighs me by twenty pounds, but like the hero in my comic, I stood my ground. Ever since Clay moved into the neighborhood a few months ago, we’ve had an on-again, off-again friendship.

    Mostly off.

Which is his fault, not mine.

You stole my comic book! I said, pushing my glasses up on my nose.

    Ha! Clay
