    About PAS & Acknowledgements

From the Founder of PAS Intervention, Joan T. Kloth-Zanard:

This book is a labor of love and commitment to ourselves and other victims of PAS to provide a powerful outlet for support, education, advocacy and action.

PAS Intervention and I would like to acknowledge all of the members of our support groups who suffer every day from this form of psychological abuse. Every one of them, who has contributed to this book or helped me with this non-profit, PAS Intervention, has given so much of themselves and opened up in hopes of helping just one more person. A special thanks to Shelley Carlisle who took over this project so I could concentrate on other things, and to Kristen Saffa for coming up with an amazing logo for us.

My Second Wife, a Short Story

    by Christopher R. E. Zanard

It is my second wife, who I have two children with that has been the source of all of our problems. I married my second wife in 1987. I have a son (1988) and a daughter (1990) with her. She was verbally and emotionally abusive of my first wife’s son, whenever I was not around. When this did not work, after my daughter was born, she tried to convince me to go after my first wife for custody of
