About this ebook
9 pieces of erotic fiction, ranging from modern times in familiar settings, to long ago and far away, with several stopoffs at strange and unfamiliar lands along the way - and every one exploring hot sex and its connection to our essential humanity and understanding of the world, each other, and ourselves.
That's right. Hot sex.
"Heartscaping" - F/F fic involving, of all things, plants. No, not garden vegetables!
"Homecoming" - M/? fic; home is where the heart is. Especially when you have a sentient house.
"Hunting Hound" - F/M fic; because this princess needs something more than the usual prince. Mild trigger warnings for (consensual) sexual violence.
"The Spy Who..." - F/M fic; a message comes in that needs to be revealed through a chemical reaction by the queen and her head spy, by unconventional means.
"Everything But" - F/M; Marriage can be truly transformative. Sometimes literally.
"Fruit of Knowledge, Seed of Truth" - F/M/?; a Snow White tale like you've never read it before.
"Her Master's Voice" - M/F; what's the dynamic when he's in charge, and she's a werewolf that could rip him apart?
"Summer Nights" - M/F; the man lurking through the summer parties at the lakehouses is not what he seems, and she's not the usual type either. Of course they gravitate to one another behind the boathouse. Mild trigger warnings for (consensual) sexual violence.
"Spaced" - ?/F; Lost in space, losing heat. how else to feel alive?

Relentlessly cheerful and dedicated to the proposition that all people deserve happiness, Andrea picked up the name Bliss early in her college career, and it has stuck with her in the many years since to the point that she's far more likely to answer to it in a crowd.

Heartscaping
The hallway beneath Laurel Gardener's feet was carpeted green, and gave soft and cool under her bare feet as she proceeded to the room she had sought. There was no door - simply an open doorframe, rounded and covered with bark rough to the touch of her trailing hand as she slipped inside.
The floor here was dirt. Not stone, not brown carpet, but actual dirt, faintly moist. Her soles would be filthy by the time she left, she knew, but it didn't really bother her now. Later perhaps, when she was slipping her boots back on.
Light spilled down from the ceiling, golden and warm, illuminating the flower planted in the middle of the room. No breeze made it sway upon its thick green stalk, the spears of leaves upon either side opening wide. They looked like welcoming arms, and she smiled at the sight, her heart twisting and relaxing like the lurch of a stuck jar lid suddenly loosening.
She went to her knees, head dipping low to inhale deeply the scent of the deep purple blossom. The movement of her breath, perhaps, was what made the ruffled edges quiver, while a tear pattered onto one of the leaves like dew.
Iris,
she whispered, and bent to brush her lips along the velveteen petals. The flower shuddered from the touch, and a droplet of nectar welled up deep within the crevice of the flower. The thick perfume was like a syrupy candy in the air, cloying even as it enticed, and she closed her eyes, bending in to search out that sweet droplet with her mouth.
The soft feathering of the blossom slid along the sides of her delving tongue, and it warmed, growing more solid. It's over, Iris, it's safe... come home,
she whispered, and dipped her tongue again, sweeping up the center
