The Story Continues
When occupants of the Flagship Pasilla were settling in it was a very busy time. There was always lots of help scurrying around. The team was thankful they were isolated, but could look wherever they wanted. The team took turns selectively meeting with new arrivals, sorting out critical lab helpers.
Tia and Linda were watchful for others their age, and when they found them, they volunteered to meet with them and help them acclimate. Jerry and his team were always busy in large lecture halls, trying to teach whoever would listen. They also had generated copious numbers of screens filled with formulas, charts and 3D models. George spent a lot of time with them, and the more time he spent, the more he contributed. There are no sciences learned which do not have new questions accompany them. Phil had learned long ago that learning derived from questions, and formulation of questions is an art in itself.
Phil was happy and busy, but not too busy to prevent himself from re-establishing Jeff and Julia’s Lab. Time was passing, and the new pigs would soon be here. Phil was already making arrangements to transport the pig’s home. Pigs giving milk were already on board suckling newborn regular pigs.
Transports were arriving several times a day. Jeff was already talking to Phil and the President about possible commercial use. Several floors had been designed for such use with hotel rooms and shopping areas. Fees collected would help pay for supplies. As there was no access between visitors and the Lab crews, Phil permitted this dual use. Soon, there were numerous shuttle ships in constant route. No one except criminal elements and minors without supervision were denied access. The areas were distributed into almost theme park areas, and that very much driven by cultural accommodation. Each area catered to a specific geographic area, right down to weather and wall images. Phil undertook this as a learning experience. He wanted to learn as much as possible to
