About this ebook
Tokyo Or Bust guides you through the ins, arounds, and outs of Japan for the savvy and unsavvy traveler alike. It combines a travel book, quick translation dictionary and etiquette guide into one package that you can pull out of your back pocket while jumping on the subway, shopping for anime, ordering drinks or even trying vegetarian sushi.
Whether in Japan for work or pleasure, it was made especially for students, musicians or any adventurous traveler. This is your all-in-one, on-the-go guide to transportation, culture, food, fun and bare bones social survival to one of the world's fastest, busiest and most amazing countries.
Heather Vantress
In 2005, she received her degree in Japanese with a minor in Economics. During her senior year at San Diego State University, she studied abroad at Yokohama National University in Yokohama, Japan. While there, she got the idea of a history-free, easy to read etiquette and travel guide of her beloved Tokyo. After a few years of living and working all over Tokyo at record labels, internet companies and helping run a restaurant, she came back to the US with enough know-it-all to try to write a book. She currently resides in Santa Ana, California, continuing her career in the music industry. Her interest are her dog, Uzi, reading non fiction, traveling, drinking and going out to eat with friends that laugh at her horrible jokes.
