Read what people are saying about this inspirational, motivational book, Goal-Setting for Little Guys.

Your book is a great compendium of what the ‘goal-setting disciples’ have to say about the subject. You have woven in some very explicit examples for daily living that should give anyone who reads your book a good idea of what’s in it for me relative to the goal-setting process. I think that you provided a solid introduction to ‘goal-setting’. It gives anyone who is interested in self-improvement a very useful tool.

As you may know, Paul J. Meyer uses goal setting as the basic foundation to all the progress that he developed. Leadership Management Inc. is built on the thesis, WHATEVER YOU VIVIDLY IMAGINE, ARDENTLY DESIRE, SINCERELY BELIEVE AND ENTHUSIASTICALLY ACT UPON….MUST INEVITABLY COME TO PASS! Mr. Meyer’s words are very powerful.

It is time again, the Western Sizzlin Restaurant certificate of recognition seems to be saying every time I go there for French fries; however, time for what? It is time to vote for the favorite salad bar in New York City. We all have our favorites. People have their favorite movies, football teams, comedians, radio and TV stations, newspapers etc. Connie Chung, First Lady Barbara Bush, Oprah Winfrey, Arsenio Hall, etc. are among the celebrities on Glenna Nowell’s fourth annual list of who reads what. First Lady Barbara Bush’s favorite book is The Autobiography of Fredrick Douglass.

Oprah Winfrey chose The Color Purple. Arsenio Hall’s preference, Little Girl Lost. Connie Chung’s favorite book is Little Women. Geraldo Rivera picked One Hundred Years of Solitude. Loretta Lynn decided on The Bible, while Bob Hope chose Mark Twain’s classics, Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn (initially self-published). Whoopi Golberg prefers the classic To Kill a Mockingbird.

Glenna Nowell is a librarian at Gardiner Public Library in Gardiner, Maine. In 1988 she decided to write to celebrities. The idea of writing to celebrities came to her in 1988. People have different favorites of everything, even their favorite barbecue restaurant, or football or soccer team. I have my list of favorites. My favorite talk show hostess is Oprah Winfrey and my favorite newscaster is the late Peter Jennings of ABC News.

My favorite religious TV program is Hour of Power – a religious TV program aired from the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California. The minister in-charge is the Rev. Robert Schuller. Hour of Power is even aired in major cities of all states in the United States, Australia and Canada, worldwide and the U.S. Military Network. The church organizes a women’s conference every October.
