About this ebook
As the modern world becomes more advanced, it becomes more technologically dependent; thus more fragile.
Technology, however, is its ‘Achilles heel’ so to speak. As this technology becomes increasingly complex and refined, it becomes more vulnerable to an EMP attack. When an individual country relies on such frail, delicate electronic systems to run the economy, industry, and the military, it inevitably leaves itself open to its enemies. For whatever political reason or religious doctrine, an EMP attack on such a country would leave the whole infrastructure and capability of that society to run itself in ruins.
This book is a scenario of what could happen in a microsecond, any time, any place, anywhere!

Electro Magnetic Pulse - Cuger Brant
Introduction
An electromagnetic pulse (sometimes abbreviated as an EMP) is a burst of electromagnetic energy that has the ability to ‘fry’ electronic circuitry in any device as to make it unusable. Electromagnetic radiation's abrupt pulse usually results from certain types of high energy explosions, especially nuclear detonations. However, with the rapid development and understanding of physics and electronics, this phenomenon can now be produced with far less drastic methods.
In short, it has the potential to disable all electronics and microcircuitry within a vast radius of its deployment and instigation. The meaning for you is that the society you are used to, which is totally reliant on such electronics, and the consequences of its failure by the use of an EMP, would be catastrophic!

The plan
Harbens grinned at Quanshi, who was working opposite him.
'The slity-eyed' oriental is nearly finished.’ he thought to himself.
The last of thirty, then we are done.
He then spoke. Confusion, confusion, after losing the ability to communicate, that would be the first noticeable effect.
he said to Quanshi.
Harbens, felt a fanatical sense of power rising in his soul, as his fingers gently stroked one of the devices that Quanshi had completed on the table in front of him. Feeling its circuitry gently with his fingers, gave him great joy, as Quanshi tweaked its circuitry here and there.
To Harbens, physically, it was no more than a mass of wires, connecting a matrix of capacitors, inductors, diodes, and circuitry, encompassing a triple flux coil. He knew nothing of microelectronic circuitry, not even the simple principle of a Tesla coil. The laws of physics were beyond him. It mattered not to him, as all that mattered was that this beautiful instrument of electronic and explosive potential, had the capacity to fulfill his fanatical, religious wish, to kill, kill, kill in the name of Mohamed, peace be upon him.
Quanshi, looked at Harbens with utter contempt, and just smiled his unreadable smile. Personally, he detested this ignorant Muslim, this follower of a blood monger. He who just lusted for blood for no purpose than following a doctrine of fanatical hate, that and some ideal of revenge for no purpose than his misguided beliefs, battered into his brain as a child by his elders. Teachings, given him by hate-filled old fools, wanting all to succumb to fear and conformity, for what use they were.
Quanshi reflected, "Who said the only thing worse than a fool is an old fool?’ Well, there are idiots who cannot reason for themselves, who cannot comprehend the true meaning of life, other than to hate.
Hate and kill until everything is the same, even then, they start looking around to hate again, for no reason other than hate’s unquenchable thirst for blood!"
Quanshi, silently recited a mantra in his mind to calm his thoughts; 'Ye who suffer know, you suffer from yourself, none other compels, none other hold you that live and die, who spin upon the wheel, and hug and kiss its tire of tears, its spokes of agony, its nave of nothingness.'
He pondered again as he worked; Protestants and Catholics; Shiites and Sunnis; Arabs and Jews, why do they hate each other? They all worship the same deity, do they not?
The holy teachings in the Koran, the Bible, and the Tanakh, all adhere to spiritual doctrines of enlightenment and light from the one god, so why do radical zealots and blood mongers corrupt the true meanings and philosophy for their own ends?
Quanshi had co-operated with this hate-filled, fanatical Islamist, for one singular purpose only: for the realisation of his own divinity’s sacred ideals, and teachings.
What does this ignorant fool know of true spiritual enlightenment?
Quanshi reflected, ‘pure thought, spreading like a Mandala of electrical circuitry growing, spreading out in a logical sequence of divinity. Thus, is the application of my discovery of inverse proportionality and its application to an EMP.’
Thoughts ran through his mind; 'Very big bombs might have better area coverage of high fields by going to higher burst heights. But for peak fields, the burst
