Chapter One

Hannah stumbled into her bedroom on a haze of tequila fumes, feeling the effects of one too many margaritas and a glass or ten of chocolate wine. And Gianna, Little Miss Evil hiding behind a sweetheart’s smile, had even made them all sample chocolate vodka. On the rocks, of course. She’d forced Hannah’s mouth open and poured the stuff down her throat. Well, she really hadn’t, but that was Hannah’s story and she was sticking with it. Tomorrow morning an eighties hair band would be screaming a raucous song in her head but she couldn’t be sorry about a damn thing.

The Sassy Seven Rides Again.

Giggling at her own private, dumb joke, she weaved a bit on her cute wedge heels and eyed the Toys 4 Us logo emblazoned on the shiny satin bag she held then gave it a little shake for good measure. The clinky sound of electric joy rattled inside the vivid pink fabric, and Hannah wondered what had gotten into her. Oh yeah. Vodka. And chocolate wine. Obviously, Alix, Gianna, Sara, Caitlyn, Emily and Petra were a horrible influence on her. Yeah, she’d blame her best friends. Worked for her!

Tonight the lovely Gianna had hosted a sex-toy party in honor of Petra’s birthday. Even Sara had flown in from Florida for the occasion, but then that wasn’t a surprise. She’d never in a gazillion years miss hanging with the crazy crew. They tried to plan a boozing bash at least every four months and tonight they’d had a doozy. No, she wasn’t sorry about her current inebriated state because the laughs they’d shared were priceless and lord knew there wasn’t a whole lot of that in her sad little life. Truth to tell, she was probably the most boring woman on the planet, but she felt somewhat less so when hanging with her friends. Smiling a bit, she flopped on the side of her neatly made bed, toed off her shoes, and eyed the pink ‘bag of wonders’. Sex toys. A whole bunch of sex toys. Hannah figured she must have a big goofy smile on her face as the examined the thing. She shook her head. What had possessed her to buy all this crap? Vibrators. Flavored lubes. Nipple clamps. There was no man in her life at the moment and nary a one lurking on her sexual horizon.
